Perfect Husband, The Destined One novel Chapter 3552

Judith and the several other fairies were frowning when they picked the holy spirit fruits from the orchard.

"What do we do now?"

Finally, Judith could not help it and said, "Even though the holy spirit fruits look pretty good, the Empress is a perfectionist. She would still be dissatisfied with any of these and punish us later."

After Judith said that, the other fairies were also anxious.

Suddenly, one of the fairies thought of something. "We can get Darryl to send the fruits. He came from the Imperial Sky Palace, so even if the Empress was dissatisfied, he might not be severely punished."

'That's right!'

Judith and the others beamed and applauded the brilliant idea.

Why had they forgotten the newcomer?

Soon, the holy spirit fruits were picked, and the fairies returned to the pagoda.

Leah nodded in satisfaction when she saw those holy spirit fruits that were picked. Then she looked at Judith and the other fairies. "Which one of you is coming with me to send these holy spirit fruits to the Empress?"

Judith and the other fairies glanced at each other; they had reached a consensus.

Judith stepped forward and said politely, "Your Excellency Leah, let Darryl go with you. He just came, and he should be familiar with the process."

'A newcomer?'

Leah was stunned, but she did not mind it. She merely nodded.

"He is taking a rest upstairs; I'll get him," Judith said and turned around to go upstairs.

On the other side, Darryl was still meditating.

Darryl was indescribably excited when two hours were about to pass.

"Darryl?"

Darryl had learned that Empress Heidi was the highest goddess in the Godly Region. Empress Heidi was the Nine Heaven Emperor's woman, and she was highly respectable. She was like a queen in the Nine Mainland.

However, Darryl was a human being that had secretly teleported to the Godly Region from the human world. Although he possessed a nascent soul, he might risk exposing his identity in front of Empress Heidi if he was not careful.

Darryl thought and smiled bitterly. "Can I not go?"

'Did he say he's not going?'

Judith frowned and said in a displeased tone, "Darryl, it was Leah who decided that you, the newcomer, should do the task. Have you ever thought about the consequences if you refuse to go? Leah is Empress Heidi's most favored personal servant. If you make her unhappy, we will all be implicated."

Judith's tone became more gentle as she tried to comfort Darryl. "That is a good task. Why don't you want to go?"

Judith was calm on the surface, but she felt very anxious in her heart.

It would be troublesome if Darryl refused to accept the task.

Darryl gave in helplessly after Judith tried her best to talk him into doing it. So, he nodded and said, "Alright then."
