The Queen was sitting by the table; her delicate face looked solemn and exhausted, and there were a lot of files on the table.
The Queen held a lofty position, but who knew the hard work and sacrifice she put behind her exalted position.
Darryl lamented when he saw the Queen in that state.
"Darren!"
The Queen took a look at Darryl and said softly, "What a coincidence that you're here. I've something to talk to you about."
All of a sudden, Darryl panicked.
'F*ck! Had she found out that I'm looking for the Holy Jade Scripture?'
Darryl strode over to the Queen's side while thinking about that.
As soon as Darryl arrived at the table, the Queen pushed the files over to him. "Vernon took the opportunity to cause a scene in the palace and rebel when the assassins crept into the palace. Since then, I've spent some time dealing with many of his comrades, and I thought I've got everyone. I'm surprised that there are more of them. Have a look!"
Darryl frowned and then took the files from the Queen.
'Marshall?'
Darryl was surprised when he saw the contents of the files. He could see that Marshall and Vernon's conspiracy to rebel were recorded in detail in the files.
It turned out that on the same night that Vernon attacked the Queen, Marshall had also secretly gathered his men outside the palace in preparation to work hand in hand with Vernon, who was in the palace. After Marshall got the news that the Queen had killed Vernon, he immediately aborted his plan.
'F*ck! I did not expect Marshall to be so ambitious!'
"Darren!"
The Queen looked at Darryl closely. "Will you help me deal with Marshall?"
For a moment, Darryl was taken aback. Then, he smiled. "These files are the proof. We'll just take Marshall in tomorrow and interrogate him."
The Queen shook her head. "Those files are not enough to be a piece of strong evidence. Furthermore, Marshall is cunning and treacherous. I'm sure he would think of a bunch of reasons to defend himself."
The Queen wore a gorgeous robe and sat on the throne. Her robe perfectly showed her exquisite figure and distinguished air of elegance. She was filled with a powerful and majestic aura.
Darryl took a deep breath, walked forward, and stood next to the Queen.
"Report!"
Suddenly, a guard walked in quickly and knelt on the ground before announcing respectfully, "Your Majesty, an envoy from the Day Rise Principality is here to see you!"
The Queen nodded and said, "Let him in."
After she gave the order, everyone in the hall looked toward the entrance.
A man dressed in a dark green robe slowly walked in. He had an extraordinary gush of aura. He was Jameson, the Mayor of Greenwood City, from the Day Rise Principality.
'F*ck! It's him!'
Darryl's heart jolted when he noticed Jameson, the anger within him continued to seethe.
