Perfect Husband, The Destined One novel Chapter 3295

The next second, Jordan snapped back to his senses and jeered. "So what if it looks beautiful? It doesn't seem any better than the one made by Count Rowan. It's so flashy; it might break easily after being touched!"

Darryl smiled and said nothing!

"Come here!"

Count Rowan reacted and called his servant to bring the big sword that he made.

Count Rowan made a bet with Darryl that as long as Darryl's sword was stronger than the one he made, then he would make Darryl his guest of honor. Otherwise, the Damien family would be forbidden from entering Jewel City in the future.

His servant brought the big sword to him. At the same time, Darryl also handed over his longsword to Count Rowan.

Huh!

The audience was silent; their eyes were locked onto the two swords.

Lolita was so nervous that she almost could not stand still. Even though Darryl had successfully made a sword, it might not be stronger than Count Rowan's sword. The outcome was still a mystery.

The fate of the Damien family would be implicated if Darryl were to lose that bet.

"Hey!"

Jordan wore a derisive look on his face and taunted Darryl. "Be prepared to leave Jewel City!"

He thought that Darryl managed to make a sword by chance because he was lucky. Darryl's sword would only suffer a miserable defeat against Count Rowan's big sword.

Darryl ignored Jordan's mockery!

Clank!

Upon Count Rowan's command, his two servants each clasped the two swords tightly in their hands and slammed the swords into each other. A clear sound rang in an instant. Everyone was stunned!

Count Rowan's big sword was instantly cut into two. It was a smooth cut, just like a piece of tofu that was split by a sharp blade.

However, Darryl's sword was completely intact. There was not even a slight crack or fracture on the blade.

Silence!

'F*ck! I thought Count Rowan would teach that guy a lesson. I didn't expect that he would know metalwork, and he seemed to be more skillful than Count Rowan.'

Lolita felt her knees buckle. She stared at Darryl as her heart pounded for some time.

'Darryl has exceptional medical skills and a high level of accomplishment in metalwork. Even Count Rowan lost to him. How many more secrets is that man keeping from me?'

Count Rowan laughed heartily as he approached Darryl and grabbed the other man's shoulders. "Mister Darryl's metalwork was an eye-opening experience. Can you tell me what's the technique involved with smearing mud on the sword?"

Count Rowan decided to put his arrogance aside when he spoke to Darryl; he looked expectantly at Darryl.

Although he enjoyed a distinguished status as a count, Rowan was a metalwork fanatic. He was particularly interested in learning from Darryl when he noticed the rigidity and sharpness of his sword.

Darryl replied with a smile, "That is called the mud-burning technique."

He seemed indifferent, but he was amused.

He thought it was funny that Count Rowan got so excited over the mud-burning technique. The technique was very common in the Nine Mainland.
