Suddenly, a faint voice echoed. Then, Darryl slowly walked out of the wooden house with a leisurely look on his face.

Grady was startled to see Darryl. "Why are you here as well?"

Darryl gave Grady an interesting smile. "Are you disappointed that I'm well? I heard Maverick say that you like acting and want to be a hero to save Lolita. How about it? Do you feel good now?"

Grady felt humiliated; he growled at Darryl. "Don't be too proud—"

He was interrupted by Maverick halfway through his sentence!

"How dare you growl at Mister Darryl! You've got a death wish?" Maverick snarled and gave Grady a tight slap.

After knowing the relationship between Darryl and the Blood Hand Organization leader, Maverick dared not slack off. He was eager to perform well in front of Darryl.
