Donoghue was standing on top of a hill and took a deep breath. He looked at the expanse of land in front of him as if he returned to a new world.

Although he was only trapped in purgatory for half a day time, the torture he suffered during that time was unimaginable for a normal person.

He never imagined he could still escape. Chester thought he would never be able to return to The Nine Continent and he never imagined he would escape purgatory.

On top of that, Donoghue was the one who helped him escape Donoghue.

Donoghue, who was in the token, was overcome with emotions. He laughed, “Ha-ha! Sh*t, I finally left that terrible place.”

“Thank you, Sect Master Wilson!” Donoghue said sincerely.

Chester smiled calmly when he heard that. “You don’t have to thank me. If you hadn’t shown me the way, I wouldn’t have been able to escape purgatory.”

As he spoke, Chester looked around then squeezed his brows. “I’ve carried out the first condition of bringing you back to The Nine Continent. To complete the second condition, I’ll need to slow down for a moment. I needed to recover my energy first.”

Due to the various tortures he suffered, Chester was extremely weak.

Donoghue smiled and replied, “Naturally. You are a man of his words, so I’ll trust you.”

If this was three years ago, Donoghue would have never been so polite to Chester. However, after the incident, both of them reached a unique understanding.

Chester did not speak but kept his silence. Chester did not respond and Donoghue smiled when he saw Chester was silent.

“The King of the Dead’s biggest secret is that he wants to conquer The Nine Continent. Do you know what he needs in order to do that?” Donoghue explained.

“What?” Chester asked.

Donoghue’s tone turned serious and he said, “He needs to be stronger. He’s the King of the Dead and the leader of the Ghost World. He can’t come to The Nine Continent. Those are the rules of the sky and earth. He needs to have the power to alter the rules of the sky and earth. I heard he was prepared to take action against the Nine Saint Oracles from the Godly Region. They have an innate spiritual aura that, if absorbed, would help his power reach unimaginable levels.
