It was Donna, the Senior Sister of Celestial Wood Altar.
Darryl was overjoyed to see her. He remembered when he joined the Celestial Wood Altar, he pretended to be a fisherman and everyone looked down on him. Donna was the one who took good care of him.
Donna was also a rare beauty and she had become even more charming since the last time they met three years ago. She was wearing a long, light yellow skirt that showed off her exquisite figure. Her beautiful hair fell over her shoulders like a waterfall; she looked like a fairy.
Darryl was about to greet her, but Donna interrupted him.
"Who are you? Why are you trespassing in the Holy Saint Sect?" Donna asked calmly.
After Darryl spent three years in the Wild Deserted Secret Region and gained three scars on his face, his appearance and temperament were very different from before. That is why Donna failed to recognize him.
Darryl was embarrassed that the Senior Sister could not recognize him anymore after having not met for three years. Then again, it turned out good for him!
Darryl clasped his hands together politely. "My name is Sandhurst. Darryl, the Elysium Gate Sect Master, sent me to look for Empress Chang Er. I have something important to tell her.”
He decided to go along with it since his Senior Sister failed to recognize him. There were grievances between the Ryukin Gold Altar and Darryl. They would probably plan something against him if they found out about his return.
Darryl was eager to see Chang Er and he did not want to waste time and effort dealing with unrelated matters. Moreover, his Senior Sister always treated him well. Donno would treat Sandhurst well if she knew Darryl sent Sandhurst.
Donna's eyes lit up. "Did Junior Brother Darryl send you? Please come in!"
She quickly led Darryl through the stone formation. Donna always saw Darryl as her Junior Brother even though he was famous in The Nine Continents. She did not emphasize her superior status, but she thought it was a friendly gesture.
Soon, Donna guided Darryl to the forbidden land behind the mountain. Along the way, many Holy Saint Sect disciples eyed Darryl curiously, especially the female disciples.
“Who is he? He’s dressed like a beggar. He looks so dumb and silly!” they giggled at him.
‘F*ck!’ Darryl frowned suddenly when he noticed it was Tina. ‘Why do I have to bump into her?’
Darryl could not forget the time when he first joined the Holy Saint Sect. Ryukin Gold Altar had always been found fault in him because of their grievances with the Celestial Wood Altar. There was a time when Tina tricked him and lured him to the back of the mountain and almost killed him.
Tina had also spotted Darryl and Donna. She first glanced at Darryl contemptuously and then turned to look at Donna.
Donna wanted to show Darryl the beautiful scenery around them, but when she saw Tina, her good mood was gone!
"Sandhurst, let's go,” Donna said softly as she walked faster.
It was obvious she wanted to avoid talking to Tina! However, sometimes things do not turn out as expected.
