Aaron frowned and said grumpily, "Just deal with it the way it should be dealt. If she is not dead, send her to the hospital. If she is dead, call mortuary to take her away. I think she'd appreciate that."
After that, he got into my car.
My expression was similar to that of the security guard, which was bewildered.
However, I didn't say anything, but just glanced at Eunice, who was struggling in the pool. She was really being an embarrassment. I didn't know how she had the guts to jump into the pool on such a cold day.
It must've been freezing!
In the car.
I couldn't help looking at Aaron and said, "You..."
He suddenly stared at me and replied, "Uncle Charles has arranged a blind date for me. It's in the afternoon. Please help me check it out when we have our meal later. If she's a suitable mate, I'll arrange for the wedding to be prepared."
I was stunned and didn't understand what he was trying to say. I looked at him blankly and said after a while, "You have a blind date later?"
He nodded and said, "She's a friend of Uncle Charles and about your age. She's been married before, but has no children. Uncle Charles asked me to meet her."
He pursed his lips with a pained expression. He looked at me and said sadly, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean what I said just now, but I really don't know what to do. I'm completely confused now. I don't know what to do at all. I'd lost the most important person in my life. I'm a mess now."
I sighed. I couldn't bear to watch the painful look on his face and glanced at Hendrix helplessly. He was staring at me with a comforting look. He said calmly, "Let's wait and have a look later. Most of the things in life are meant to be. It's fate. We just need to let it be."
Since when did this person become so zen?
However, what he said was somewhat reasonable. There was no other way to go about this.
After calming down for a while, I looked at Aaron and said, "Aaron, since Uncle Charles had already arranged the blind date for you, you should take it seriously. You should be respectful and polite to her. Don't be careless. Even if you don't like her, you should still be a gentleman."
