"Yeah… that's probably it…" Laura said, trying to shake the strange feeling she'd had since that morning.

Back in the private room where Angela and Lucius had been taken, the hospital director was calling the surgical wing to ask about Amanda Hayward's condition.

"I understand, but… if that's the latest update, why hasn't anyone informed the family? I need someone to come and explain the situation," the director said, then ended the call.
