My Flash Romance With the Richest Mogul novel Chapter 1957

The moment Vivian's hand touched the copper mirror, her mind was filled with vivid, modern scenes. The mountain she had climbed and the one Skylar and Joe had climbed.

Just then, a shout cut through her thoughts.

"Ms. Martin! Ms. Martin!"

But the voices seemed to grow more distant, fading until they felt unreal. She wanted to speak, to tell them she was fine, but no words would come out.

In the end, everything seemed to plunge back into darkness.

When she opened her eyes again, she found Manfred sitting by her bedside. He was gently wiping her forehead with a handkerchief.

She blinked, meeting his gaze—his eyes full of tenderness.

Manfred's hand trembled slightly.

Vivian was stunned. Then, it hit her—she remembered the copper mirror. She had passed out right after looking into it.

"That copper mirror…" she murmured.

Manfred quickly composed himself, his expression returning to normal. "The copper mirror is on the table. How do you feel now?"

"How long was I out?"

Vivian let out a sigh of relief when she heard the copper mirror was still there. Looking out the window, she noticed that the sky had already brightened. She wondered if she had slept through the entire night.

"Two days and two nights," Manfred replied softly.

For those two days, he had been rushing back as soon as he finished his work, waiting for her to wake up, constantly checking her pulse.

Vivian was stunned. "Two days and two nights? I slept for that long?"

"Manfred, what should I do? I'm so happy. After searching for so long, I finally found it. I'll be able to see my parents again very soon."

He spoke gently, "Give me half a month. After that, I'll take you to find them."

Although Vivian was thrilled, when she heard the timeline of half a month, she hesitated. "Half a month? Can you really handle everything in that time? With how things are in Briarpatch…"

"In ten days, the new magistrate will arrive in Briarpatch, and I'll no longer be needed," Manfred explained softly.

Vivian's joy faded slightly, a sense of reluctance creeping in.

In just half a month, he would take her to find her parents, and then… she wasn't sure what would happen.

Noticing her change in mood, Manfred furrowed his brow and asked with concern, "Are you feeling unwell?"
