To my wonderful readers, Althea and Daven’s journey has come to a close at Chapter 620. Thank you for following their long and winding road to happiness.
I am thrilled to announce that SEASON 3 will be a spin-off featuring LYDIA AND CALE. To keep everything in one place, I’ve decided to CONTINUE WITHIN THIS SAME BOOK after consulting with my editor.
I hope you will support Cale and Lydia just as much as you supported Althea and Daven. Since their stories share the same timeline, you can still expect to see Althea, Daven, and the rest of the Callister and Miller families from time to time.
Enjoy the journey!

The hanging lights glowed warmly, their soft radiance spilling into every corner of the garden that had been transformed into a sea of white and pale blue flowers. The night felt almost too beautiful for Lydia to take so much so that it bordered on unreal. Like a dream she was afraid to blink away.
How could someone like Cale… dear God.
If only she could scream—out of sheer, unfiltered excitement—because all of this… all of it… was Cale Miller’s idea.
Her future husband.
Lydia forced herself to stay still, standing at the center of it all in a simple dress, one she had chosen for before the main event. Her fingers clutched the fabric at her side, restless, betraying the calm she was trying so hard to maintain. She hadn’t expected anything like this.
“I said, don’t look yet!” Felicia’s bright voice rang out from behind her, followed by Kalina’s soft laughter.
“I’m not looking!” Lydia shot back, though the corners of her lips had already begun to lift. “You’re the ones taking forever.”
There was no point asking how fast her heart was racing. She’d already lost count of how many times Felicia and Kalina had warned her not to move too much. Lydia had no idea what they were doing to her—or for her.
“Because this has to be perfect,” Kalina replied, her tone gentler now.
“She’s right,” Felicia added with a quiet chuckle. Then, slowly, she turned Lydia face forward.
And for a moment… Lydia couldn’t say a word.
In front of her stood a long table, carefully arranged, filled with her favorite foods—dishes she didn’t even remember ever mentioning. Small photographs were placed between tall candles. Some captured moments they had shared together… others were pictures of Lydia herself; taken at times she didn’t even know she’d been seen.
“This…” Her voice came out barely above a whisper. “Since when did you—”
“Not just us,” Felicia cut in, her smile carrying a quiet meaning.
Lydia turned her head—and that’s when she saw them.
Althea sat carefully, while Daven stood beside her as if his entire world revolved around that one woman. There was warmth between them—something steady, something grounding. The kind of presence that had always made Lydia feel lucky just to be close to them.
But what drew her attention the most… was the baby in Althea’s arms.
