My Deceased Wife Wants a Divorce (Hannah) novel Chapter 782

Mr. Michael Rosenberg never imagined that Hannah had come prepared today, not just on a whim.

“I bet those paparazzi outside were hired by her. Otherwise, how could they show up the one day we don't have patrols? It's obvious Hannah tipped them off. The moment she leaves, the news is out.”

The thought that all three of them had walked right into Hannah's trap made him feel even worse.

He couldn't believe that Hannah, a woman in her twenties, had dared to scheme against them, the family elders.

“Lionel, oh Lionel, look at the mess you've made! None of this would have happened if it weren't for you!”

Mr. Michael Rosenberg glared fiercely at Lionel. “If you had just agreed to a clean divorce with Hannah from the start, none of this would be happening! Everything would be peaceful.”

“But now, you've dragged the three of us elders into the trending topics with you, making us a laughingstock. Are you satisfied with this outcome? Are you happy now?”

Furious, Mr. Michael Rosenberg repeatedly struck the floor with his cane, the thuds echoing in the room.

“How can you be so sure Hannah did this? Maybe those people were already camped out nearby.”

Lionel completely disagreed with the elder's assessment.

“After all, everyone is desperate for news about our family lately. You can't just pin the blame on Hannah for this.”

Hearing Lionel say this, the elders were stunned. They couldn't believe that even now, Lionel was still defending Hannah.

Things had reached this point. The only thing to do was to make sure Lionel showed up on time.

After all, since Hannah was bold enough to do this, if he were late, she would undoubtedly sic a horde of reporters on him to tarnish his name further.

She might even have a crowd waiting for him at the courthouse.

If he did that and was late, the situation would become unmanageable. The thought gave the elders a collective headache.

Lionel listened to the elders, not saying another word, but his brow remained furrowed as he stared at the online discussions.

An growing unease settled in his heart. He wasn't sure if Hannah had actually done this.
