My Deceased Wife Wants a Divorce (Hannah) novel Chapter 775

“But Quennel really wants Lionel out of the Rosenberg family, so he decided to use their plan to his own advantage and had someone leak the meeting’s content, making the Elders think Lionel did it,” Cherry concluded, looking smug.

She couldn’t believe she hadn't seen the hidden motives behind it all.

Samuel picked up the thread. “But then Lionel did a bunch of stupid things that inadvertently cleared his name. The Elders realized it wasn’t him, so Quennel got scared and had to push someone else out to take the fall.”

Hannah nodded after hearing their conclusions.

“Exactly. That’s what I was thinking,” she said. “If we can figure this out, Lionel probably has too. I just wonder what he’ll do next.”

Analyzing the situation, it wasn't hard to guess who was pulling the strings.

Quennel probably never expected Lionel to do so many foolish things, and that those very actions would accidentally prove his innocence.

So Quennel underestimated him, got sloppy, and left too many suspicious details.

If she, Lionel, and the others could figure this out, there was no way the Rosenberg Elders hadn't as well.

But the fact that the Rosenbergs were still blaming a servant made it obvious they were protecting Quennel.

The Elders’ blatant favoritism, shielding Quennel and ensuring his safety, would surely infuriate Lionel.

She just didn’t know what his next move would be.

Samuel noticed the sly look on Hannah’s face and asked curiously, “Hannah, are you plotting something?”

“Are you about to do something? Hannah, take me with you, take me! I want to get in on the action,” Cherry said, winking excitedly at Hannah.

Hannah raised an eyebrow, and Samuel and Cherry instantly knew what she was planning.

“Hannah, I’ll go with you! I’ll go with you! I already had my falling out with Lionel yesterday, so I can openly stand by your side. I can even tell him off when I see him.”

Cherry stood up, hands on her hips, and declared triumphantly, “If you hadn't called me for no reason yesterday to pick a fight, I would have given you a heads-up when I heard the news. But you just had to be that way. Serves you right!”

“I’ll go contact some reporters and have them stake out the place, just to make sure Lionel’s popularity doesn’t drop.”

Hannah couldn’t help but laugh at their practiced efficiency.

It seemed everyone was looking forward to this.

“Alright, then let’s get ready and head over to the family estate to find Lionel. I’m guessing that after he found out about all this, he went straight to the Elders.”
