My Deceased Wife Wants a Divorce (Hannah) novel Chapter 775

“But Quennel really wants Lionel out of the Rosenberg family, so he decided to use their plan to his own advantage and had someone leak the meeting’s content, making the Elders think Lionel did it,” Cherry concluded, looking smug.

She couldn’t believe she hadn't seen the hidden motives behind it all.

Samuel picked up the thread. “But then Lionel did a bunch of stupid things that inadvertently cleared his name. The Elders realized it wasn’t him, so Quennel got scared and had to push someone else out to take the fall.”

Hannah nodded after hearing their conclusions.

“Exactly. That’s what I was thinking,” she said. “If we can figure this out, Lionel probably has too. I just wonder what he’ll do next.”

Analyzing the situation, it wasn't hard to guess who was pulling the strings.

Quennel probably never expected Lionel to do so many foolish things, and that those very actions would accidentally prove his innocence.

So Quennel underestimated him, got sloppy, and left too many suspicious details.

If she, Lionel, and the others could figure this out, there was no way the Rosenberg Elders hadn't as well.

But the fact that the Rosenbergs were still blaming a servant made it obvious they were protecting Quennel.

The Elders’ blatant favoritism, shielding Quennel and ensuring his safety, would surely infuriate Lionel.

She just didn’t know what his next move would be.

Samuel noticed the sly look on Hannah’s face and asked curiously, “Hannah, are you plotting something?”

“Are you about to do something? Hannah, take me with you, take me! I want to get in on the action,” Cherry said, winking excitedly at Hannah.
