Cherry got halfway up the stairs, then pretended to remember she’d left her phone behind and hurried back down.

“Whoa… wait, what is this?” Cherry picked up her phone, staring at the screen with a bewildered expression. She blinked. “No, no, what’s going on? I swear I turned off the livestream. Why is it still running? Was my phone hacked or something?”

“I’m logging off, I’m logging off! Oh no, I’m so screwed! When Lionel gets home and finds out I was live, he’s going to come after me! I’m the most innocent person here, and now I feel like my life is over!”

With a pained expression, Cherry tearfully ended the livestream.

After it was off, she maintained her distressed facade and walked upstairs.
