“Hannah.” Lionel sat down nearby, his tone cold as he spoke. “The three elders came to see you earlier. What did you tell them?”
Lionel got straight to the point, wasting no time on pleasantries.
He knew that in Hannah's eyes, any small talk would just be seen as a stalling tactic. There was no point in beating around the bush; it was better to get straight to the matter at hand.
Hearing Lionel's harsh tone, Hannah slowly lifted her eyes to look at him. She said nothing, merely sizing him up before letting out two cold laughs and returning her gaze to her phone.
【Wow, Hannah looks so incredibly cool right now!】
【Whoa, seriously, Hannah is mesmerizing. So awesome!】
【I have to say, Lionel’s attitude is so annoying. I can't stand people like him!】
【Right? Can't he just talk things out properly? He comes in acting like he's interrogating a criminal. It’s so irritating to watch!】
“Lionel, can't you speak respectfully? You come in here with such a hostile tone, anyone would think we did something to you. What's with the awful attitude?”
Samuel put down his phone, crossed his arms, and took a deep breath before looking at him. “As for what your elders said to us when they came here, Cherry already posted a video about it. What are you still asking for?”
Cherry also lowered her phone and nodded. “That's right, I already posted it. While it wasn’t the entire conversation, if you really want to know, I can have someone pull the security footage.”
“Go get the security footage for Lionel,” Hannah said, thinking Cherry's idea was excellent, and immediately instructed a servant.
A servant heard Hannah’s command and immediately went to retrieve the footage.
