My Deceased Wife Wants a Divorce (Hannah) novel Chapter 757

Everyone knew how much she doted on her eldest son.

So she was the least likely suspect.

“Could it be that we were wrong from the start? Perhaps it wasn't any of those three, but one of the servants?” Mr. Michael Rosenberg ventured.

“It’s not out of the question that we have some brainless servants in the house.”

Mr. Michael Rosenberg's words sent the other two elders into another deep contemplation.

After all, Lionel was now almost completely cleared of suspicion, and they couldn't figure out a motive for Quennel or his mother.

That left the household staff as the only remaining possibility.

Mr. Edward Rosenberg said, “Investigate all the servants in the house. We can't let them get away with it.”

Mr. Michael Rosenberg and Elder Hong responded, “Yes!”

None of the three elders had any idea that as they were discussing the matter, Quennel had already hacked into the estate’s security cameras and was recording every word of their conversation.

He closed the camera feed and tossed his phone onto the table, leaning back hard against the sofa in frustration.

Quennel had never imagined Lionel would voluntarily admit his prior collaboration with Cherry.

And now, that very admission had become his most convincing piece of evidence.

Great. The elders were no longer suspicious of Lionel and were now turning their attention to him and his mother, along with the other servants.

But if they investigated further, they would surely find that none of the servants on duty had any real motive.

Once the staff were cleared, the investigation would circle back to him and his mother.

At that point, even if his mother tried to take the blame for him, it would be meaningless!

The thought made Quennel even more agitated, and he pinched the bridge of his nose forcefully.
