My Deceased Wife Wants a Divorce (Hannah) novel Chapter 664

Lionel tried to retrace his steps, wondering what had happened. This kind of thing had never occurred before.

"When did everything start getting so weird?" he mumbled to himself, sitting on the edge of the bed.

He slowly lifted his gaze to the view outside the window, and suddenly, an idea began to form in his mind.

"It all started after I began working with Cherry! Everything went wrong then!"

The words escaped his lips unconsciously. As he said them, he shot to his feet, his eyes wide as he stared ahead.

"That's it! Everything became incredibly strange after I partnered with Cherry!"

Yes, that was it!

There had been some coincidences before, but it was only after his collaboration with Cherry began that so many bizarre things started happening.

This meant Cherry was likely the key figure behind all these strange events.

Could it be that Cherry had betrayed him? Had she gone over to Hannah's side?

Although he couldn't prove she was directly responsible for what happened at Quennel's house, she certainly had the opportunity to pass along information about other matters to Hannah.

If Cherry had really switched sides, then her continued partnership with him was just a front. She was acting as a spy, gathering intelligence from him and feeding it to Hannah.

That would explain how Hannah knew so much about his plans, how she could even anticipate his moves!

He had initially dismissed the idea because Cherry had openly argued with and bullied Hannah, making it seem unlikely they would get along. But what if Cherry had offered to be a spy as a way to win back Hannah's favor?

The more Lionel considered this, the more panicked he became. He grew increasingly certain that Hannah had planted a mole right beside him.
