Samuel Temple couldn't wait a moment longer and immediately ordered someone to find a skilled forger.
An hour later, the man arrived.
He studied the three handwritten letters, then picked up a pen and began to imitate the script.
After writing a few words, he handed the sample to Hannah Green and the others.
"I have to say, a professional's work is on another level. Look at this—the handwriting is identical!"
Samuel stared at the words. Honestly, if he hadn't hired the man himself and known what he was doing, he would have thought it was a fourth letter that had just been delivered.
"Of course. Pros do professional work. Now, when I take this to him, he'll have to believe what I told him this morning."
Cherry Temple said with a triumphant arch of her brow. After all, when Lionel Rosenberg heard her claims, he had been in complete denial, convinced she was lying.
"Let's see him try to explain this away. If he still denies it and insists the letter said Quennel Rosenberg's name, that we changed it, then I'll just keep pressing him until the truth comes out!"
Cherry grew more excited the more she thought about it. She never imagined things could develop this way and could hardly wait to see the look on his face.
"Hurry up and copy the contents of this letter, just change Quennel's name to Lionel Rosenberg."
Worried the forger might not know how to write Lionel's name, Cherry even wrote it out for him on a separate piece of paper for him to copy.
In less than half an hour, he had produced a new letter. Hannah compared it meticulously with the original, checking it several times to ensure there were no mistakes. Only then did she place it in the envelope.
