After all, the main reason for sending Lionel was to see if he could dig up any information about her aunt. Instead, he got into a fight without learning a thing.
The man was completely useless when it came to important tasks. But things were what they were, and there was no point dwelling on it.
“Hannah, let me go see Lionel first. I’ll ask him what the hell is going on and if he got any information. You guys can come later. Let me chew him out first!”
Hannah nodded in agreement.

The next day, Lionel was admitted to the hospital.
Cherry deliberately went to his home first, and upon learning he was hospitalized, she rushed over to see him.
“Lionel, what happened to you? Did you get any news about my aunt? Tell me quickly, because Hannah might be going on a trip in a couple of days and she won't care about this anymore!”
Lionel recounted everything that had happened the previous day.
Upon hearing his story, Cherry flew into a rage, standing by his bed and pointing a finger at his nose. “Are you insane? I asked you to get information. You ignored the one thing you were supposed to do and just spewed nonsense before getting into a fight. What was the point of that?”
“Just wait until Hannah finds out you went behind her back and came back with nothing. You’re in for a huge fight!”
Cherry feigned a look of utter despair. “I can’t believe you. I gave you all that information, and you completely wasted it. What is wrong with you?”
Lionel opened his mouth to explain, but then paused. What Cherry said made sense.
