Samuel looked from one to the other in surprise.
As they took their calls, both of their expressions grew increasingly grim. When they hung up, they looked at each other.
“I’ll drive you to the main residence.”
“No need.” Hannah stood up and looked at Samuel. “You drive me. And you’re coming in with me.”
Samuel wasn't sure what was happening, but based on Hannah’s expression and the mention of the main residence, he could piece most of it together.
He got up and drove Hannah to the Rosenberg family estate.
Lionel’s car followed close behind.
He sat in the passenger seat, his brow furrowed as he stared at the car ahead. For some reason, even with the windows closed, he felt the air in the car grow colder, a chill seeping into his heart.
He gripped the steering wheel, his heart clenching painfully.
Though the family had known they were getting a divorce, and even Grandma was now aware, the situation escalating like this was having a major impact on the Rosenberg Group.
Lionel rubbed his temples, his head aching. He had no idea what his mother would say to Hannah, especially since she had never liked her to begin with. And now this…
He let out a heavy sigh.
Thirty minutes later, the three of them arrived at the main residence.
Besides his mother, Quennel, and Grandma, several other influential family members were also present.
