My Deceased Wife Wants a Divorce (Hannah) novel Chapter 329

“I know where he is,” she said quickly. “He got scared when he found out you were a Temple and came to me for help. You know how my family is now…”

“Where is he?” Hannah cut her off, having no patience for her theatrics.

“Xya Airport. He should be arriving there soon. You’d better hurry…”

Beep. Beep. Beep.

Before Sandra could finish, the line went dead. Staring at the disconnected call, she was so furious she almost smashed her phone against the wall.

“You bitch,” she seethed. “Just wait. Once I’m in with the Temple family, I’ll deal with you.”

Forcing down her rage, she immediately dialed Jason’s number.

“Ms. Woods, we had a deal. Why are you…”

“Jason, the Temple family is looking for you,” she said, her voice a convincing imitation of panic. “Get to Xya Airport now. I’ve already arranged a flight out of the country for you, all your papers are in order. Hurry, or you won’t make it!”

Jason was silent for a few seconds. “What… what’s going on?”

“There’s been a change of plans. Just as we expected, Hannah was completely humiliated, but it seems she’s blaming everything on you. The Temples are coming for you!”

“No! That’s not what we planned! You were supposed to blur out the other men in the video, and I wasn’t even in it! How could they have traced it back to me?”

“Just stop asking questions and get to the airport! If you miss that flight, you’re done for. Now go!”

On the other end of the line, Hannah heard the screech of tires as Jason, without even hanging up, sped toward the airport.

Hannah ended the call and looked up at her uncle, Peter.
