"I need to use the restroom," When they reached the venue, Valerie’s date informed her before heading to the bathroom area.
Valerie nodded and walked ahead to mingle with the guests.
Her eyes were searching for her nieces when she found them in a corner talking to the groom. Joseph kneeled to fix the bow near Ariel’s neck. Sophie was laughing at something while standing there with her husband.
She was glowing.
Valerie wished she could also have a real wedding, but this was not the time to fret about it. Marissa and Rafael were nowhere in sight and Valerie needed to develop a connection with Ariel.
She got the chance when Sophie and Joseph got busy with the other guests. freēwebnovel.com
"Hey!" she offered a hand to Ariel for a handshake who kept staring at her face and hand while not giving any reaction. Valerie had to control her grin. Ariel not only looked like her but also got her ego from her aunt.
She pulled her hand back without taking any offense. A governess was standing nearby who was keeping an eye on the girls like a hawk.
More than the governess, Valerie was scared of little Alexander who was way more protective of his sisters than their parents.
She crouched down near the girls and sensed Abigail’s eyes on her. She was looking at Valerie with a baby-like innocence.
"Abi. Let’s go and find Alex," Ariel held Abigail’s hand, but Abi didn’t move an inch and looked at Valerie.
"Are you, our aunt?"
Valerie smiled and nodded at her, "Yes, I am."
Abigail tried to smile but Valerie’s eyes stayed on Ariel.
"If you want, we can go for some hot chocolate date or grab an ice cream someday," she offered them, but Ariel didn’t seem interested in it, "With your parents’ permission, of course," she finished with a shrug.
Ariel didn’t respond and almost dragged her sister away, "Come on. Let’s go, Abi."
She was getting irritated at Abi’s stubbornness.

Before a scream could escape Marissa’s lips, Rafael was quick to clamp his palm on her red-painted lips.
Right now, they both were in the bridal room’s tiny bathroom. At home, they both got ready to attend the reception of their best friends’ wedding but had to cater to their kids too.
Alex wanted a certain colored pair of socks; Ariel wasn’t able to find her hair clip and Abigail started crying because she was still not allowed to run for more than ten minutes a day. It got crazy for both of them and then Sophie kept grinding them with her calls to reach the venue ASAP.
Now everything was settled, and they were here at the reception. Here in this bathroom where Marissa couldn’t wait to open her legs for him.
"Harder, Rafael. Aah!" her eyes rolled back as he kept banging her with all his might. To avoid her head from bumping to the wall he had cushioned it with his palm.
The bathroom was not very spacious, so they had to do it while standing right next to the mirror.
"I’m serious," there was no smile on his face now, "If my wife wants something, it needs to be done."
Marissa shook her head and was about to say something when Rafael didn’t let her speak and his lips landed on her soft ones.
"I’m sure, my lip color is ruined," Marissa took a look at herself in the mirror and was horrified when she found that not only her lip color, but her hair also needed fixing.
Rafael gave her a sheepish grin because he was the one whose fingers combed through her hair and clutched it tightly.
"I’m sorry!" he tried to control his smile by biting his lower lip, but Marissa glared at him.
She opened her purse and then took out the lipstick, "I hope guests don’t feel our absence."
Rafael laughed at her remark, "Even if they did, do we care?"
That earned him another glare from Marissa.
He waited for her patiently unless she was done with her appearance, "You males are so lucky. No tension of makeup, no long hair."
He pulled her back into his chest and eyed her through the mirror, "For me, you will always be beautiful. No matter if you apply makeup or not," his chin was poking on her shoulder and Marissa had to smile and relaxed back more into his body.
However, she was startled when she felt his bulge through his pants, "Rafael!"
"My love," he kissed her temple, without breaking the eye contact, "We will do it again in the bedroom tonight. We have to, my love."
