Mr. President You Are The Daddy Of My Triplets novel Chapter 272

Chapter 272: 272- After The Event (II)

Marissa saw him, hurriedly putting on his t-shirt and pulling up his jeans.

"Wh-where are you going?" she asked him in disappointment, "Is everything good?"

"Just a small task. I’ll be back just like that," he snapped his fingers and kissed her forehead, "You wait for me... and ..." he trailed off gathering her in his arms, tightening his grip around her.

"Whenever you are around, I don’t want to do anything, Marissa Sinclair except to kiss you or hug you or tease you or..."

"Or?" her voice was muffled in his shirt before she pulled back to watch his face.

His eyes were busy tracing the contours of her face, "Or simply look at you," he mumbled placing his chin on her head, "You’re very precious to me and I waited a lot for you."

Marissa felt a wave of dread wash over her. It was almost like... like he was expressing his love to her. She wished he could ditch that surprise crap and tell her whatever was in his heart.

She raised her face to look up, "Rafael! Why don’t you..."

"Shhh," he was quick to place his finger on her lips, "I know, love. I’m equally impatient," he held her hands, "But the most important woman in my life deserves this protocol."

He gently brushed her hair aside, "You are not an ordinary woman, Marissa. Don’t ever let anyone make you believe that. You are a very special person in my life."

He gently, pressed a kiss on her forehead, "It won’t take long! Ok?"

Kissing hard on her lips, he picked up his car keys and left, leaving behind his wife who couldn’t wait to meet him again.

"This evening, our kisses were too magical "Sophia read the message on her phone and laughed. After changing into a comfy gown, she lay on the bed and started reading a medical journal.

She was planning to start back her practice. Now her friend was happy and settled, Sophie didn’t want to postpone it anymore.

She never regretted taking a break from her job. Those kids were her lifelines, and she was ready to sacrifice her career again if she would be given another chance.

"What are you doing?" she typed back the message.

Her phone pinged immediately, "Missing you! What are YOU doing?"

With a smile, she typed again, "I was just reading a journal..."

"Ah! Journal. And here I thought the woman was as affected by the kisses we shared."

Sophie shook her head, "The woman was having a hard time, reading that journal because you were on her mind," She rolled her lips between her teeth after typing the message.

"Sigh. I think I made a mistake. I should have taken Marissa’s offer to stay for the night," Sophie was about to type something naughty when there was a soft knock at the door.

The door opened and Marissa’s head appeared in the doorway, "Sleeping?"

However, when the curtains were pulled back, she raised her face slowly. Her face lit up when she saw Marissa.

She started knocking on the glass wall, frantically pointing towards the door. She wanted Marissa to open the door for her and Marissa was shaking her head in disbelief.

"Oh, shit! Nina?" Sophie muttered not knowing if she should be surprised or concerned. There was strange desperation in her eyes.

Nina didn’t look in her senses. Like a mad woman, she was continuously jabbing towards the door. Her face had tears, and it felt like she had been running a marathon. Her entire appearance was disheveled.

"Why is she here?" This time Sophie got a little louder. Marissa turned to her with confusion on her face.

"I don’t know. The guard called to tell me that she refused to leave the spot and has been here ever since the event ended."

Her voice dropped to a whisper, "He didn’t want to use force without my permission."

Marissa hesitated and then walked up to the wall. She placed her hands gently on the glass wall. Nina hurriedly shot up from the ground and placed her palms on the wall, right where Marissa’s hands were.

"Marissa!" Sophie stepped forward and placed her hand on her shoulder, "Talk to her and then you need to make her go. I’m not getting a good vibe from all of this. Something feels off."

Marissa nodded in agreement. Her friend was right. Her gaze locked on Nina’s tear-streaked face. She couldn’t quite put her finger on it.

But something about the situation was making her stomach twist.

Taking a deep breath, she decided to open the door.
