Mr. President You Are The Daddy Of My Triplets novel Chapter 224

Chapter 224: 224- Longing, Yearning, Desire!

Marissa’s fingers were absentmindedly tracing the patterns on the wood of the dining table. Sitting across her, Sophie was sipping her coffee, her brows raised in mild amusement.

She could see how impatiently her friend was waiting for Rafael Sinclair.

"So, that’s final," Sophie placed her mug down, "You don’t want coffee. Not even a light snack."

"Nah," Marissa shook her head and checked her wristwatch for the umpteenth time. Rafael was a punctual man and could arrive any minute. freeweɓnovel.cѳm

"By the way," Sophie swirled her tongue along with her teeth, "Who invites someone to breakfast this early?" she didn’t dare to show her smirk to Marissa. The poor thing was already embarrassed due to what happened last night.

Sophie couldn’t even ask her if she got her climax or not.

This morning, Marissa was confused about this date. Why did Rafael invite her for breakfast? That too before seven!

No restaurant or a café in Kanderton offered breakfast this early.

Sophia took another sip of her coffee while eyeing Marissa thoughtfully who was waiting for Rafael impatiently.

The way she was shaking her leg gave away her frustration. Her feet were continuously tapping the floor.

"Don’t be tensed, Mar. I think he wants to surprise you by doing something special," Marissa didn’t reply and just bobbed her head.

"He might take you to the beach," Sophie again spoke, and Marissa again nodded with a faint smile.

"What if he is taking you to the White Palace and announcing to the world that you’re his queen," Sophie winked, and Marissa almost choked at her absurd suggestion.

"Seriously? Queen? Ha-ha," she burst into laughter.

Sophie’s lips also curled into a playful grin, "At least have some coffee to calm your nerves, Mar. You’re too tense."

Marissa glanced at her steaming mug but then shook her head, her eyes were darting to the front door again and again.

She was trying to suppress the yawn that was trying to escape her lips when a loud honking echoed outside.

"He is here," Marissa shot up from her seat, suddenly all energetic. Sophie watched her friend whose face had started glowing.

You love him, silly girl. She thought while sipping her coffee.

And he loves you too. And is obsessed with you.

Marissa hurried to the door, her long ponytail bouncing with every step, "Bye, Sophie."

Sophie waved at her friend and kept sipping her coffee.

Stepping outside, Marissa’s breath got caught in surprise.

"Hello, Mommy!" the kids sitting in the back seat screamed at the top of their lungs. Their little faces lit up when they spotted their mom.

Rafael who was leaning against the car, grinned, watching her with a teasing glint in his eyes.

Instead of heading to the passenger door, Marissa went straight for the backseat and opened the door with a big smile.

"My babies! My love!"

In an instant, she was practically lying across their laps showering them with butterfly kisses. They all were squealing in excitement, hugging her tightly with their little arms.

"Rafael! I think you need to stand up now. You are on top of me and I’m on their little, teeny tiny limbs. That’s too much for them."

Rafael wanted to stand but didn’t know how.

"Hold on!" Sophie switched off her phone and rounded the car to help Rafael out. After that Rafael had to assist Marissa in straightening up.

After kissing Marissa’s head, he opened the passenger door for her and then waved at Sophie. The car started moving away slowly and the kids started waving goodbyes to aunt Fia.

Sophia remained there even when the car was out of sight. She was rooted to the spot.

For a moment... for a second, she felt a pang of longing.

She loved them all and was happy that the kids had gotten their father back. Her friend was no longer alone to fight the world.

But there was something in her eyes that no one could see.

Longing.

A surge of yearning.

A desperate desire to start her family. To get committed to someone.

She always thought that she could spend the rest of her life all alone but seeing them laughing crazily had left her desperate to hold someone’s hand and become a mom.

She swallowed hard and sent a silent prayer their way.

Her love for Marissa had no bounds, and she couldn’t wait to meet Joseph. With a sigh, she smiled and went inside with a heavy heart.
