Miracle Cutie (Amelia and Benjamin) novel Chapter 15

Chapter 15 A Boy

Daniel raised an eyebrow and gave the new profile picture a like.

The second he tapped the screen, a notification slid down.

“You’ve received 1,000,000.”

Right after that, William’s message appeared.

“Just transferred Nina’s allowance to you. Make sure you buy something nice for her. And don’t you dare spend her pocket money on yourself.”

Daniel let out a long sigh.

William had cut off his own son’s allowance years ago.

Daniel had been living on whatever he could hustle up since then-and since he wasn’t exactly the hardworking type, life hadn’t been a bed of roses.

He was in the middle of muttering about how heartless William was when he looked up-and froze.

Inside the bubble-ball pit, Nina had her pudgy arms wrapped around a slightly older boy.

Daniel’s entire face darkened.

“Sweetheart! What are you doing? Don’t hug that boy! Let go of him-right now!”

He’d only looked away for a couple seconds.

Somehow Nina had already latched onto a kid who looked three or four-dressed in designer everything, soft brown curls, delicate features, deep-set eyes.

A ridiculously handsome little boy.

Nina held his tiny hand while babbling happily at him.

Even from a distance, Daniel could feel the kid’s cool, aloof vibe-way too mature for his age.

Daniel narrowed his eyes dangerously and moved forward.

“Sir, please don’t enter the play area,” a staff member hurried to block him. “Adults aren’t allowed.”

Daniel’s expression turned thunderous.

Pointing at Nina and the boy, he snapped, “Are you guy’s even watching? That little brat is taking advantage of my girl and you’re just standing there?”

The staff traded helpless looks.

The young woman assigned to watch Nina simply pulled up a short clip she had just recorded and hit play

Chapter 15 A Boy

On the screen, the little boy sat alone, quietly holding a piece of bread.

Nina noticed him.

Whether she was attracted to his face or the bread… really hard to say.

She toddled over with a sugar-sweet smile.

“Hiii!” she squeaked.

The boy didn’t respond.

So Nina leaned even closer.

“Hiii!”

After hearing that greeting several times, the boy finally frowned a little and muttered, “Hi.”

That was all the encouragement she needed.

Nina grabbed his hand-then promptly took a huge bite of the bread he was holding.

The staff hadn’t even had time to react.

The boy didn’t seem bothered.

He calmly fished a candy out of his pocket and handed it to Nina.
