Earlier that morning, Serena had located the attackers' base and relayed the information to the Department of Defense for a raid.

Serena placed her laptop back into her canvas bag and stood up. "It was a team effort. I've already set up a new firewall and taught everyone how to update and maintain it, as well as how to patch any vulnerabilities."

Mr. Harrison nodded repeatedly, grinning from ear to ear.

Serena glanced around the control room but didn't see Nicholas.

"Are you looking for Mr. Blackwood? He just went over to the main console to reinforce its firewall. He should be back in a bit..." Mr. Harrison saw right through her.
