“She can walk around the VIP area freely, so maybe she can get into the Sovereign Suite! Let’s have her pass a message to the Lancaster family for us!”
The Wynns’ eyes lit up. Wasn’t this a golden opportunity?
Ignoring the matter of her ruined dress, Marianne immediately shouted toward Serena, “Serena! Stop right there!”
Her voice was extremely loud, echoing jarringly in the quiet, elegant hallway.
Even the security guards at the entrance turned to look.
“Serena, the one in the chef’s uniform, get over here right now!” Logan called out, lifting his chin with an air of command when Serena’s gaze met his.
He thought that if Serena just obeyed, then after they sorted things out with the Lancaster family…
He might even be able to persuade his family to let her back into the Wynn household.
As long as Serena understood her place and didn’t try to compete with Hailey, the Wynns could afford to keep her around.
“Excuse me, please keep your voices down!” Several guards hurried over to block them as they continued to shout and looked ready to rush into the VIP area.
Marianne pushed a guard’s hand away. “That chef, we know her! Tell her to get over here now!”
The commotion was getting louder.
Serena lifted her gaze slightly, her expression indifferent as she looked at the three clowns making a scene.
The Lancasters hadn’t arrived when she got to Le Céleste. Mr. Marshall happened to be in the kitchen, and upon hearing she was there, he eagerly pulled her in.
Serena had been eating her parents’ home-cooked meals for the past few days at the Lancaster estate.
She felt it was time to return the favor.
So she went into the kitchen and personally prepared a few of her specialties, including a medicinal soup for her grandfather.
