When Damien’s words fell, the room went silent for a moment before all eyes turned to Selina and the imposter.
Damien seemed to notice the imposter’s growing panic and drawled, "This should be an easy one—basically a freebie..."
He turned his head toward the imposter. "You answer first?"
Panic flashed in the imposter’s eyes. She bit her lip in frustration. Why me first? Damien is totally biased. Why doesn’t that Selina have to go first?
Hannah saw the flicker of hesitation on the imposter’s face and silently cursed. Not good.
But before she could intervene, the imposter blurted out,
"If I answer first, what if that woman copies me?!"
Idiot! Hannah cursed again inwardly.
The real Selina had no fear. Even if her answer got copied on one question, she could handle the rest—she would answer confidently and immediately. That was what the real Selina should do.
By refusing to answer first, the imposter made herself look suspicious—not just to Hannah, but to everyone else.
Sure enough, Damien’s brows creased slightly. "You don’t want to answer? Fine then—your turn."
His gaze shifted to Selina.
Selina arched a brow, clearly amused at the imposter’s foolishness.
"Contracts."
"Mm, correct." Damien’s tone stayed calm as he looked back at the imposter. "Both Selenas seem convincing—I can’t tell who’s real. I’ll give you another chance. What kind of contracts are in that drawer?"
To bystanders, the follow-up sounded fair enough.
One answered "contracts," so Damien simply asked what kind—it made perfect sense.
But to the imposter, it felt like a trap.
"Uh, I—I..." Her voice faltered. How the hell would I know?!
Damn Aiden! she thought bitterly. He said he was on my side, so why bring Damien into this?!
"You..." Damien’s brows pulled together with a hint of doubt. "Selina should know exactly what’s in that drawer—it’s something all of us are aware of, hardly even a secret. You really can’t answer?"
Murmurs rippled across the room as skeptical eyes bore into the imposter like sharp pins.
Damien smiled faintly. "Fine. I won’t press you on that one. Next question—when’s my birthday?"
The moment he asked, the live stream chat exploded.
Damien’s fans flooded the comments:
Isn’t the actor’s birthday August 20th?
Yeah! We celebrate it every year on August 20—it’s all over social media! This one’s basically a giveaway!
If anyone gets this wrong, they’re 100% fake.
The imposter exhaled in relief. She had studied everyone around Selina thoroughly. Of course she knew Damien’s birthday.
"August twentieth," she answered with confidence.
Damien gave a small nod, then turned to Selina. "And your answer?"
Selina’s lips curved into a teasing smile.
"August eighteenth."
The entire room—and the live-stream chat—froze in shock.
The famous actor had always celebrated his birthday on August 20. It even trended online every year. How could she mess that up?
The imposter pounced.
"Big brother, it’s obvious now—she doesn’t even know your birthday! She’s the fake!"
Hannah frowned slightly, a nagging feeling creeping in—something wasn’t right.
Damien suddenly turned, his tone sharp.
"I think you’re the fake!"
