Married at First Sight Chapter 4671
Another person arrived for dinner, and the waitress went off to greet guests. The waitress, named Asi, turned again to look at the room Ning Tianlei had booked.
She, too, went to greet guests.
A moment later, Ning Tianlei’s dishes were ready for service.
Asi rushed to serve Ning Tianlei.
Every time she brought a dish in, she glanced at him, but Ning Tianlei only had eyes for Li Nuo, not her.
She said nothing, silently placing the dishes down and walking away.
After all the dishes were served and Asi left, Li Nuo said to Ning Tianlei, “Tianlei, that waitress who served us just now kept looking at you and not saying anything every time she came in.”
“That felt weird,”
Ning Tianlei said with a compliment, “I guess it’s because I’m so handsome. She’s never seen a man as handsome as me.”
Li Nuo smiled.
He was indeed handsome. He turned heads everywhere he went.
Thinking that the waitress looked like she was in her thirties and Ning Tianlei wouldn’t like her, Li Nuo didn’t take it to heart.
It wouldn’t be surprising if someone fell in love at first sight with a man as handsome as Ning Tianlei.
Ning Tianlei never dreamed that the waiter named Asi who served them the food was none other than his second sister, whom he had been searching for for six years.
Cameron had fled Wiltspoon with the money Mr. Long had given her, as well as the jewelry and bags he had bought her .
She had gone to a city thousands of miles away where no one knew her. She was also away from the influence of the Zhan, Shang, and Su families.
She spent months there in fear, but when Mr. Long didn’t find her, she felt relieved.
She bought a house and a car and settled down there.
But she was used to a life of luxury. After all, she was born with a silver spoon in her mouth. She had never worked since childhood, and she never held a job as an adult.
She had no way of making money and was simply lazy. She spent her days shopping, making new friends, and spending money like water.
Within three years, she had spent all the money she had taken with her. She also sold the jewelry and designer bags she had taken.
That little money wasn’t enough to support her lavish spending.
Eventually, she even sold her house.
Her new friends, seeing she was broke, gradually distanced themselves from her because she would borrow money from them and then never pay it back.
They said it was just a lesson learned, that they had misjudged her, and that she didn’t need to pay it back, but that borrowing money again was out of the question.
Someone who had accidentally learned about Mr. Long was still looking for her.
Cameron feared being found by Mr. Long. She had betrayed him, and if she fell back into his hands, she would surely be dead.
Six years later, she was no longer the young woman in her early twenties.
She was already thirty years old, and would soon be thirty.
In the past six years, she had had many boyfriends, and she had lived with every boyfriend. Now, when she looked in the mirror, she lamented that she had really become a withered flower, and had long lost her former beauty.
What made her most sad was that every boyfriend had never thought of marrying her.
She had spent all her money, all her friends broke up with her, and her boyfriend found a new love. She became a poor thing with nothing.
As a last resort, she used the money from selling her house to get plastic surgery. It was not a major surgery, just a minor one, so that people would not recognize her at a glance.
After that, she returned to Wiltspoon.
She thought that the most dangerous place is the safest place.
Mr. Long certainly would not have thought that she would return to Wiltspoon.
After returning, she found a job.
