After a moment, Lu Jueyu put down the women’s watch and picked up the men’s watch. Before she could put it on Li Lingyun’s wrist, it was taken by Li Chenmo.

"Let me do it," Li Chenmo said, helping his second brother wear the watch.

Seeing her husband’s intense gaze, Lu Jueyu knew he was feeling jealous again. She helplessly pinched her husband’s fingers as he lowered his hand.

Lu Jueyu smiled and said, "Father, this brand makes good watches. They won’t break easily. What’s more, you are no longer doing heavy work, so you don’t have to worry that you will break it."

"Father, we can afford it," Li Chenmo added when he noticed that his father hesitated not because he disliked it but because of the price.

While Father Li was still hesitating, Li Lingyun finished paying and returned with the store assistant.

"Comrade, could you show me the latest designs for men and women?" Lu Jueyu asked when she saw the store assistant.

Lu Jueyu nodded and took out her purse. She had brought extra coupons and money from her space before they left this morning. So, she had enough coupons and money to pay for it. As she paid, everyone in the store looked at her in astonishment.

Industrial coupons weren’t easy to obtain, yet she had nine of them at once. Despite her simple clothes, this woman was clearly no ordinary person.

Noticing their envious glances, Lu Jueyu explained shyly, "Well, my husband served as a soldier for 11 years. We saved a lot of industrial coupons over the years."
