Chapter 136

The saleswoman’s face got pulled after hearing what Rufus said. This was not the first time she saw this type of person. However, she had never seen someone pretend to be rich and brought at whole bunch of people together with him to get free meals.

Severin smiled coldly and glared at Rufus. “Hey, fat boy! I don’t ever recall crossing you before. Do you have to insult me and my family?”

“Tsk!” Rufus smiled contemptuously. “You never cross me but I just dislike you the moment I see you. What are you going to do about that? I’m going to insult you however I want just because I don’t like you. You should be grateful I’m not asking my bodyguards to beat you up!”

Severin looked back at the door. There were a few men in suit smoking. They should be the bodyguards Rufus mentioned.

“Hey, please stop it. Do you have the money or not? If you are here thinking you can get a free meal, please stop wasting my time, okay?” The saleswoman’s attitude changed immediately and wanted to kick them out of the shop.

“Haha. It doesn’t matter. If you are worried, we are going to waste your time. We can always go buy the car from Audi!” Severin laughed.

“Mister Rufus, please don’t be angry. My son-in-law has a bad temper. Surely he won’t dare to hit you. He’s just joking with you!” Felicia quickly approached, trying to unleash the tension.

“Joking? I’m sorry. But I never like to joke! Didn’t he ask me not to force him to hit me? That’s exactly what I’m going to do today! Come hit me if you dare!” Rufus continued to provoke. “You’re just an idiot that got out of fail. Do you think I will be afraid of you? Who do you think you are? I know you went to cause trouble at your ex-girlfriend’s wedding and leave without a scratch. Well, you got lucky. Do you think I’m useless like Easton?”

Megan too was afraid Severin would act recklessly and fight with Rufus. She quickly grabbed him. “Severin, swallow it. We need to endure it. He is Rufus Chavez from a second-tier upper-class family. We Shanahans never dare to offend them. If you offend him, we are going to be in big trouble. Don’t let him provoke you so easily. He used to like Diane but Diane rejected him. I’m sure he’s jealous of you now.”
