Chapter 12 

The villa, brightly lit, was in a state of chaos. 

The Corsie family went crazy swinging hammers and smashing the villa into pieces. 

Reporters from various newspapers frantically pressed the shortcut keys. 

Emma’s older brother, Waylon Corsie, pinned Braydon to the ground and punched him repeatedly, his eyes turning bloodshot with hatred. 

“I, the beloved daughter of the Corsie family, was actually treated so badly by you!” 

“Are you looking for death?” 

The Corsie family discovered all of Emma’s hidden past on their way here. 

The Corsie family’s respectable and innocent daughter was unexpectedly labeled as a harlot by Braydon. 

And all this just for the sweetheart he was violated by the kidnappers! 

Waylon was getting angrier and angrier, his grip getting tighter and tighter. If his wife hadn’t come up to stop him later, Braydon’s funeral might have been tomorrow. 

Without even looking at Braydon, who was covered in blood, Waylon stood up and ordered the people he had brought to continue smashing. 

When Emma left in a hurry, she couldn’t take many things with her. 

Since she couldn’t take it with her, she decided to smash it all, as if the Corsie family’s daughter had never married into the Lederer family. 

Finally, looking at the messy room full of books, Waylon finally called a halt to the Corsie family. 

He looked coldly at Braydon, who was lying on the ground gasping for breath, and said word by word. 

“From now on, the Corsie family, our Emma and you have no more connection. If you dare to come looking for her again, you will be facing a dead end!” 

This decisive words hit Braydon like a bolt from the blue, leaving his mind blank. 

No, you can’t! 

He absolutely could not lose her! 

But before Braydon could do any of this, Emma had already aborted the baby, divorced him, and left him for good. 

Braydon didn’t understand why Emma loved him so much. He had told her that if she could just be patient a little longer, everything would work out in the end and they could live happily ever after. Why couldn’t she wait? 

Waylon’s wife couldn’t help but mockingly say on the side, “If you cheat, you cheat. What else is there to explain?” 

“Braydon, you did nothing except not sleeping with Caitlin. You adopted a bastard as your own child, calling your own child a bastard. You flaunted around with other women, while letting your wife bear the blame. You really are something, taking all the good reputation for yourself and leaving all the bad to my sister. Our Corsie family was blind to have ever chosen someone like you!” 

One sarcastic remark after another was like nails piercing him all over, leaving him in excruciating pain. 

He hung his head like a soulless puppet, allowing the Corsie family to 

scold and beat him. 

Waylon’s wife also said she was tired, and she looked at the man in front of her and finally said, “I’m done.” 

“Braydon, if you hadn’t said you didn’t like Emma in the first place, we wouldn’t have married her to you.”
