"It’s been a while, Noah Osmont."
Noah glanced at the aged figure of a face he was familiar with, the being that appeared before him in the past as the Karmic Sect Leader Inuit fitting the face of the imprisoned figure that was currently pierced through by multiple golden rods.
The chaos essence backed by the power of a Nebula class being ate away at these golden rods rapidly as blood ruptured out freely from where the disappearing spears were piercing, Noah looking at this scene as he sent forth a golden essence to heal this being!
Noah’s figure went forward and clasped onto the body of the aged being as the last spear piercing him faded, the voice of Inuit ringing out once more thereafter as he glanced towards Noah with a smile.
"You do not seem all that surprised?"
He posed a question as Noah continued to wash his body over with radiant essence, stopping blood from leaking out of the many holes, but that was all his energy did! The injuries did not heal anymore than this as he finally spoke towards this old benefactor of his.
"I theorized multiple possibilities for your identity, being a prisoner from the last war and the target of the mission given to me weeks ago was one of them."
He helped the old man up with a smile as he continued.
"I have to thank you once more for saving my life in the past, and I have even more questions I want to ask you before you fade away again, but we might have to move fast to leave this place."
Noah said this as he glanced at the chaotic essence that had chewed through the cage completely, knowing that some kind of signal could be sent out as a consequence, and he still had something to do on this Celestial Star before too many powerful Celestials were alerted!
"Oh, we have less than 3 minutes. If you planned to do anything grand like massacre everyone on this Star before we leave, it might not be too advisable as an old friend is quickly going to descend, and I don’t think you’re a match for him yet."
"An old friend?"
Inuit had a calm expression as Noah helped him up, replying to his question as he tried to move the joints of his body that had been stuck in place for hundreds of years!
"Yes, someone you know as the Founder."
"..."
Noah paused as he looked at the old man that just dropped a bombshell, his mind already having calculated a lot about this mysterious being he was rescuing, but he wasn’t privy to the information that he was connected to the Founder of the Celestials!
His mind worked rapidly as he heard this new information and the limited time they had, changing the plans of taking down the powerful Celestial of this star for Fate Lines as he moved on to another objective that he should be able to complete in time.
"Go on and do what you need to, nobody else will be coming down here in the next 3 minutes. I’ll use the few minutes to stretch my legs."
Inuit spoke out with a smile as he raised his body by himself, stretching his imprisoned limbs as Noah saw there was no time to waste and nodded, moving on to try and complete at least another part of the objective.
His figure broke through the inner layer of the luminous world as a golden rotating core laid in front of his eyes, his hands waving forward rapidly as he cast [Devouring], leaking mana senselessly to steal a peak Prime World Core in less than a minute! freeweɓnøvel.com
The moment he finished this, his figure teleported back to the location he had left the aged Inuit as he found the old man to be calmly stretching and then voicing out to him.
"Ready?"
RUMBLE!
The earth around them had begun to shake as the star lost its core, its destruction and implosion not too far away as Noah expected many Celestials on this 7th Celestial Star to actually lose their lives from the implosion of this star, only the truly powerful ones being able to survive the implosion of a Prime World!
His hand grasped onto the body of Inuit as he instantly began teleporting away with him, but not before his eyes caught on to the appearance of a powerful being materializing into the underground space as he and Inuit were teleporting away from it.
As if time had slowed down, the clear eyes of Inuit and the squinting eyes of Noah were able to lock on to the materializing particles of light that was actually the Founder himself, his face still apathetic as his eyes held a trace of anger!
A single glance between the three of them...and that was it!
SHAA
Noah and Inuit’s figure completely disappeared in the underground space, the alerted Founder missing them for less than a millisecond...
