In the middle of what had been escalating into tense standoff between Malphas and Alexander Asmodeus, the atmosphere shifted dramatically.
A moment later, Malphas’ cold gaze flickered subtly as if receiving new information.
His hands, which had been positioned to deliver devastating assault, slowly lowered as his expression transformed from hostile assessment to practiced calm.
When he spoke, his voice held apologetic professionalism.
"My apologies for the aggressive posturing. I am Malphas, and The Master has just informed me that you are designated as friendlies."
Alexander blinked with confusion at this abrupt de-escalation.
"What Master are you referring to?"
Malphas replied with simple clarity.
"The Early Creature, Osmont."
...!
The moment Alexander absorbed this revelation, his eyes opened wide with recognition and his entire figure relaxed dramatically.
Even though the Scales of Law continued indicating some form of link between this being and components of THE Loom, the identity of Osmont superseded all such warnings!
Seraphina Valorheart observed the complete diffusion of what had been imminent violence the instant Noah’s name was invoked, and she shook her head with mixture of relief and exasperation.
She addressed Alexander with a voice of an urgent reminder.
"Can we please proceed to the Heart of Law? We have to assess the true extent of what remains of the Collapsed Civilization of Law and its location in the Wandering Territories... and the Kleos Council should know something."
Alexander looked at her bright, somewhat pouting eyes as he sighed. He wanted to check in with Osmont! He sighed once more before looking toward Malphas.
"Can you provide a little summary of what has occurred recently in these territories? We must attend to Law’s infrastructure first..
"
Malphas nodded with practiced efficiency.
"The Master has expressed curiosity regarding the Civilizational Authority buzzing prominently around your existence. This manifestation of mine can accompany you with The Master’s explicit permission and aid you as needed."
...!
With such arrangement established, Alexander nodded with acceptance as Seraphina looked between the two of them before sighing again.
"Let’s go then!"
Her figure surged toward the Heart of Law with determined velocity while Malphas appeared beside Alexander with fluid grace, his gaze calm as they began following.
Malphas spoke with a voice of genuine interest in fulfilling his assigned role.
"Where shall I begin the summary? Recent events have been... remarkably eventful."
—
Far from their current position, in the Transcendent Quantum Folds, Noah stood beside Khor in that carefully veiled domain.
From their concealed vantage, they could observe the Justiciar Outpost maintaining its ominous vigilance, as well as the massive wall grotesquely fused with Mutated Inevitabilities...and most significantly, the faint doorway inscribed upon that terrible structure suggesting potential passage toward THE Loom itself.
At this moment, Noah’s attention focused primarily on Khor as her body pulsed with immense concentrated waves of Civilizational Authority of Hunger.
Her expression held profound heaviness as if she was remembering something that had always been fundamental part of her identity but had been forcibly suppressed or fragmented.
When she spoke, her voice was a heavy one!
"My Hunger. My Inevitabilities. My People. We were so magnificently free before the catastrophe. Amongst all Primordial Civilizations, we should have been among the earliest to manifest...apart from Existence itself, Hunger represents one of the most fundamental principles driving all advancement."
Her crimson eyes blazed.
"To systematically collapse Hunger, to subjugate and mutate all Inevitabilities like what we witnessed on that wall... Oh, Outsider, I am truly going to fuck up Paradox when opportunity presents itself. The vengeance will be proportional to eons of accumulated suffering."
HUUM!
Noah smiled at Khor’s passionate declaration as after he had relayed comprehensive information regarding Primordial Civilizations and their five critical qualities, her reforming Way had elevated dramatically...just as his own understanding had triggered advancement.
Similar to his experience, she had already possessed everything necessary.
She simply required the knowledge to properly access and utilize what had always been present within her collapsed framework.
Knowledge had proven critical beyond any other factor, and at this moment, he could feel the steady stream of Hunger descending onto her from across Observable Existence.
Her power continued exploding upward with momentum that suggested no immediate ceiling!
Noah’s eyes pulsed as his voice echoed out.
"My Hunger and yours are fundamentally connected, and yet maintain unique characteristics. I planted your Hunger as you emerged from suppression, and I listened to the Doctrines of Hunger to have Ozymandias enact my Civilization of Hunger through that vessel."
His voice carried weight of magisterial revelation.
"The two of us are essentially building the same Civilization, but my Hunger is fully intertwined with Mana in ways yours is not. My progression will systematically aid your restoration, and your advancement will reciprocally strengthen my framework. We are...symbiotic rather than competitive."
