Rosie messaged Cornelia again: [Did your hubby help you out?]

Cornelia replied: [Yes.]

Rosie asked: [So, he helped you because you kissed him in public?]

Cornelia answered: [No, he didn't ask for it. I kissed him because I was overwhelmed. I hope you guys stop making fun of me.]

Rosie said: [Look at you, blushing like a teenager. You're still green. Once you've been around the block a few times, you won't be so easily flustered.]

Cornelia quickly touched her face; it was indeed hot.

This year marked the 50th anniversary of Riverton. There had been light shows every weekend recently, up until the anniversary celebration on July 28th.

Yesterday, Granny Luisa created a group chat and invited all the family members. She named it "We are family". Cornelia was over the moon when she saw the group name. The group had six members, including the two grannies and Patricia, Marcus and Briana, and lastly, Cornelia.

It was 8:30 in the evening, the grannies were still awake and replied quickly after seeing the message.

Granny Luisa replied: [Nelly, are you and Marc at the light show? Enjoy it for a while longer. If it's too late when you're done, you can choose not to come home.]
