Zavier gave Marcus a long, thoughtful look, then finally exited the scene.

After Zavier left, Ayden returned to Marcus's side.

He hung his head low, clearly upset, "I screwed up big time. You can punish me however you see fit."

Ayden replied impassively, "Mom, don't say that again. If it weren't for Granny Luisa and President Hartley, we might have been dead a long time ago."
