I Only Want You novel Chapter 927

"Wake up, honey." Sitting on the edge of the bed, James whispered to Elizabeth who was sleeping soundly.

After he called her several times, she finally woke up. She was still in a daze, "I'm so sleepy."

Hearing this, James could not help saying with a smile, "I see. You don't know how long I have woken you up."

"Is that so?"

"Isn't it just?" James raised his eyebrows and said exaggeratedly, "You didn't wake up, and I have called you for an hour. I don't dare to pull you up directly, so I could only keep saying, 'Honey, it's time to get up. It's dawn. Honey, wake up, it's time to eat. Honey, why haven't you woken up?",

James continued, "I'm so good to you, aren't I? I didn't get angry. I have a good temper, right?"

Elizabeth burst into laughter, "How can it be so exaggerated? You must be lying." As she laughed; she was in a much better spirit.

"Alright it was not so long."

Elizabeth sat up on the bed. The curtains in the room were closed, so she couldn't see the sky, "What time is it now? Is it time to eat dinner?"

"It's 7:30 pm."

"What?" Elizabeth's eyes widened, "Why did I sleep for so long?" She was a little guilty, "Why didn't you wake me up earlier? You clearly know that I can sleep for a long time recently. It was in the past, it didn't matter, but today is different. Understand? How can I let so many people wait for me?"

James smiled and comforted her, "Don't worry. All the guests have left."

"Really?" Elizabeth exclaimed again.

"Shouldn't they go back after dinner?"

Elizabeth was very depressed, "You should have come and woken me up just now. I didn't even go downstairs. What will they think of me?"

"It's okay. You're pregnant now, and I don't want you to be tired. Besides, there is no activity at night. They just had a meal together. Your rest is the most important thing. Don't worry about other things."

"But..." Elizabeth sighed, "I always feel that it's impolite. If I had known that I would sleep so deeply, I wouldn't have slept. Or, I should have set an alarm clock, and that would be better."

"It's all right. Everyone is happy. Don't think too much, okay?"

Elizabeth glared at James with annoyance and snorted, "Now that everyone has left, I can only accept the fact."

James patted her on the back, "Yeah, that's right."

Elizabeth snorted again, "They didn't say anything, but what if they have complaints against me in hearts? Anyway, I don't care. After all, I didn't know them before, and I won't contact them in the future. At the worst, they will just think that I am not sensible. But... I'm not sure how they will judge you."

Hearing this, James pinched Elizabeth's nose, "Honey, you are so bad."

"It's all your fault, isn't it?"

"Alright, it's all my fault." James smiled and said with a good temper, "Since they will laugh at me, you don't have to think about it. Well, now you have slept for a long time and it's time for dinner. Otherwise, my son should be hungry. After dinner, we will go back. Tonight..."

James coughed, "You know what will happen, don't you?"

Hearing this, Elizabeth blushed and pretended not to understand, "No, I don't know."

"You said this deliberately, right?"

"Richard, when did you come here? Didn't you say that you should carry on a task today and couldn't come back?" James held Elizabeth in his arms and asked Richard, who was standing at the front.

Richard smiled and said, "Jimmy, you get married today, don't you? I finished my task in advance and came back. What do you think? I'm your real friend, right?"

Before James could speak, Richard said again, "However, it seems that I came back late. Look! You've finished dinner. I rushed all the way here and wanted to eat warm food, but now I don't even have water to drink."

Hearing this, James laughed, "Didn't I promise that I would treat you to a meal when you came back? But..." Saying this, he loosened the hand that held Elizabeth and went forward to punch Richard gently on the shoulder, "Thanks for coming back today."

"You don't have to so polite to me."

"Mm." James nodded. "What do you want to eat? Let's go now. Aren't you hungry?"

"No." Richard opened his eyes wide, "You know my job. Sometimes when I carry on a task, I can't eat anything for several days and can't eat regularly. Starving is just a piece of cake for me."

"So?" James asked.

Richard looked back at the people standing behind him, and then turned back to James and said with a smile, "Jimmy, don't say that you don't know what we're going to do."

"I missed the wedding banquet today, but fortunately, it's not too late. We haven't bantered the newlyweds on wedding night!"

When Elizabeth heard this, she finally understood why these people came here. It turned out that they were waiting for this.

In fact, she hadn't thought about this matter. Hearing what Richard said, she was quite expectant.

But... she didn't know if James would agree.
