I Only Want You novel Chapter 892

James thought for a moment and said, "You are right. But do we just stand by and watch Isaac's pain?"

"Since we can't find her, we can only wait."

They could only wait till Isaac was useless to Maxwell, or till Maxwell passed away, or till they found Isaac's mother.

"Well!" James sighed heavily and said, "That's the only way."

"That's right."

"But two days ago, Isaac visited me and said something about himself. In my opinion, the woman he is getting engaged to is also difficult to deal with."

Benjamin chuckled and said, "In my opinion, she is just a rich lady who has been spoiled and is still childish."

Hearing it, James kept shaking his head and sighed, "Ben, you don't know women. Let me tell you, these rich girls sometimes are the hardest to get rid of. They sometimes are as clingy as sticky gum. When you piss her off, she can turn the world upside down for you and leave you no peaceful life."

Benjamin looked askance at James. "I'm not married yet, but it doesn't mean that I don't understand anything. What about you?"

"What about me?"

Benjamin sneered, "How experienced are you that you think you can teach me? Are you really capable?"

James's eyes widened when he heard this. He was stunned for seconds and then exclaimed, "Ben! You!" He pointed at Benjamin and laughed, "Are you kidding? Well, you are even less experienced."

"Yes! I didn't date with many women. So far, I have only dated two women, including Zena. But when I met my wife, I realized the feeling I had for Zena was not love at all. Well, you won't understand what I am saying."

"Besides, I should be called loyal and faithful, right? I'm not a playboy. Just because of this, I can be your role model and you should learn from me!"

"And, I'm telling you. Even if I don't have much experience, I'm married, right? What about you? Are you married?"

James then burst into laughter. "Ha! Ha! Ha! Married? You don't even have a girlfriend. I don't know when you will be able to get married!"

Well...

How dare Benjamin tease him?

Did Benjamin really realize that women only treat him as a friend? But of course, only James' wife was his real friend. Other women wouldn't have a chance to be his friends at all.

Benjamin narrowed his eyes. "Do you want a fight?"

James kept snorting at Benjamin, "Ben, don't you try this again on me. Do you really think I am afraid of you? Plus, I was telling the truth, wasn't I? Have you listened carefully?"

"Well," James nodded with satisfaction, "You did. That's why you are angry out of embarrassment." James then spread out his hands and said, "It doesn't matter. We are brothers. We have been playing together since childhood. I will never laugh at you. Ha! Ha! Ha!"

"Get out!"

Benjamin ignored him completely and didn't stop.

James grinned and leaned against the sofa and crossed his legs comfortably. He spread his arms as well, not considering himself as a guest at all.

James watched Benjamin leaving. When Benjamin was about to open the door, James said casually, "My wife's best friend is interesting."

James kept staring at Benjamin as he spoke.

As expected, Benjamin stopped, but he didn't turn around.

James could not help raising his eyebrows joyfully, and then continued, "I didn't understand why my wife treated her as best friend. In my opinion, she seemed to be, well," James thought for seconds, "not so smart."

Just as he finished speaking, he saw Benjamin clench his fist slightly.

James chuckled silently and continued, "But later on, I met her several times. Of course, we just had a few conversations. Then I realized my wife is a shrewd judge of character. Falling in love with me shall be a good example, I suppose?"

"Evelyn is quite reliable and thoughtful. In recent days, except my wife, there are few women better than her."

Benjamin frowned and then turned around to look at James casually.

James seemed to realize that Benjamin had not left yet. He raised his eyebrows and looked at Benjamin in surprise. "Well, why are you still here?"
