"I feel that you're quite happy today," Elizabeth said as soon as she walked out of the Lu Mansion.
"Is that so?" James said and smiled more brightly.
Elizabeth nodded, "Yes."
"Xavier is about to get married. How can I not be happy?" In fact, what he really wanted to say was that he was no more emotionally crippled, and he was happy because he had made peace with Xavier.
Elizabeth smiled after hearing it, "I am also very happy." After that, she sighed, "It's the best result that he can marry the girl he loves and has a family that really belongs to him."
"What does a family that really belongs to him mean? What did my parents say just now? If my father doesn't regard him as a member of our family, how could he give him so many shares? He didn't lose his mind."
"That's right." Elizabeth nodded with a smile, "Mom and dad are really nice to him."
Hearing this, James snorted, "Aren't they good to you?" As he said this, he puckered his mouth with depression, "Sometimes, I even feel that I am their son-in-law by adoption."
Elizabeth was stunned for a moment, and then burst into laughter, "You must be kidding."
"By the way, honey, well... Xavier and Zena are getting married soon, aren't they?"
"I know."
"Isn't your major design? Design their suit and dress for them."
"What?"
James coughed softly and said, "You've heard what we talked about the wedding just now. Xavier doesn't want us to help him. Giving him money or gifts is too cheesy and can't express our good intentions. You can design two dresses and suits for them as an expression of our goodwill. What's more..."
Elizabeth naturally knew what he wanted to say. She knew that she could take this chance as a practice. She didn't know whether she should be angry or happy. What the hell was going on? James actually wanted to get some benefit for her from their wedding.
However, she agreed with his proposal. Not to mention whether she could improve herself by this chance, it was really a good expression of their goodwill.
However...
"Hey, I have a question."
"What's it?"
"I found that these days, your attitude towards Sebastian seemed to have changed a lot. Didn't you ask me to stay away from him? What's going on now?"
Hearing this, James suddenly felt a little embarrassed. Just as he didn't know what to say, Elizabeth looked at him with a teasing smile. He reached out his hand to rub her hair in a mess as if to vent his anger, "You're getting bolder and bolder now. I must give you a lesson!"
Elizabeth was not afraid of him at all. She combed her hair with annoyance and said, "Do you know what hair means to a girl?"
"What?"
"Hair is so important to girls! Why do you always like to mess up my hair?"
James raised his eyebrows and smiled. He leaned his head closer to her naughtily, "You can also mess up my hair." He was in a good mood, so he didn't care even if she messed up his hair.
"What are we doing here?"
James smiled and said easily, "Sell you! What do you think?"
Elizabeth was speechless. James always liked to joke like this, and he was so annoying!
Seeing that he continued to go up the mountain, she pulled his arm because she once had terrible experiences on the dark mountain. "Hey, James, let's go back." Saying this, she looked out of the window, "It's so dark here, I'm a little scared." There were tall trees on both sides of the road with their branches crossed, and they almost couldn't see the sky.
James naturally knew what she was afraid of. He comforted her and said, "I am just teasing you. It's okay. There is no snake here. Even if there is a snake, I will let it bite me."
Would the snake bite him just because he wanted it to bite him? She was so speechless!
"It's really okay. I've let someone check here. Don't worry." James comforted here as if he was coaxing a baby.
"Why on earth did you take me here?"
They were almost halfway up the mountain. "Look over there,” James said, pointing to an open space in the distance.
Elizabeth looked over and saw some lights. There were something like flashlights and a score of bonfire. With the light, she could vaguely see some tents and some people there.
Were they... going to spend the night here?
"James, did you... take me here to attend the campfire party?"
