"So that was your ex?" James Lu leads Elizabeth Liang to the underground parking lot and they got in his car.

Elizabeth fastened her seat belt and nodded. "Yeah."

He sneered and said, "Your taste in men sucks."

He looks good, but his character is really bad.

Hearing him say that, Elizabeth smiled bitterly. "My family arranged it. We grew up together." Then she joked, "I was young, dumb and blind."

James had heard that phrase before.

And boy, was it true.

Hearing this, James burst into laughter. "So you were a child bride?"

Why does he have to be so crude?

She was heartbroken, she was furious, but she couldn't do anything about it.

"Mm, I don't think so." James started the car and turned to look at her. "So you tried to hook up with him again while bringing me food?"

What on earth was he going to do?

"Don't you want to clean yourself up before having a free meal?" James squinted at her. "Do you know how much you smell like kitchen smoke?"

"..." Hearing this, Elizabeth lowered her head and smelled her clothes. She made a cake today, it should only smell a little sweet. What smoke was he talking about?
