Heather probably just took a shower not long ago. She was wearing a large nightrobe, and the belt around her waist revealed her slender waist. Her exposed calf was not slim but rather muscular due to her practicing kickboxing all year. The well-proportioned lines and fair skin made him drool.
Heather walked toward the desk before stopping. She picked up a large towel from the chair and used it to dry her hair. It was uncomfortable feeling the water dripping from her hair after washing, but she hated using a hair dryer. She could only wipe hard with a dry towel.
"Let me help you!" Ralph hurriedly put down the tray in his hand and stepped forward.
However, she turned away to avoid him and said coldly, "No need."
He failed to grab the towel and wanted to back off when he heard her cold voice. However, he recalled his purpose and future.
He endured it again and said with a smile, "Why are you so distant with me? We’re about to get married! If you rub your hair too hard, it’ll become damaged. Let me help you wipe it."
"No need!" She finished wiping it as she spoke.
"It's easy to get sick when your hair is wet. I know you’re a busy person with many things to do. Even so, you have to take good care of your body! Still, there will be me in the future. You can leave some things to me after we get married. I can help share your burden. Women were meant to be pampered. Some things are better left for men to do!" Ralph took the opportunity to say so while helping her dry her hair.
Heather coldly smirked at his words as she understood their implicit meaning. Both of them were clear about each other’s intentions for getting married. To be precise, she knew this man's thoughts, but they did not know what she really wanted. They probably thought she wanted the Russell family's property. How naive. The Russells had many properties, but none were as crucial to her as the secret kickboxing handbook.
Heather did not reply to Ralph’s words. She closed her eyes, enjoyed the comfortable sensation from her scalp, and said casually, "Your house is quite big, Ralph. Such a big house. Aren't you afraid of thieves?”
