He could understand if Lily wanted to venture overseas. Still, she rejected Wesley’s invitation and insisted on developing her career domestically.

“Mr. Carter, did you know about my remuneration package in Rebirth? How are you so sure that the society will provide something better than that?” Lily asked indifferently, smiling.

Noah paused and came to realize what Lily meant. “Yeah. I know that an ordinary perfumer wouldn’t get much from Rebirth. Still, as the future wife of La Beauté Group’s CEO, you wouldn’t put that much regard on monetary compensation.”

Then, he leaned closer toward Lily, “You might not care about things like money, but as a professional perfumer, don’t you want to get access to top-notch materials? Don’t you want to use more advanced instruments in conducting your research? We can give you anything La Beauté Group provides, and we can give you the things they can’t as well!”

He was proud saying that.

“Perhaps,” Lily said but showed no signs of hesitation on her face. “Not now, though.”
