“Do you have anything important to talk about? If you don’t, I have things to do.” Cameron’s face grew stern. He hated Fabian for being glib and not getting to the point.

Seeing him upset, Fabian dropped his ingratiating smile and said thoughtfully, “Yes, yes, of course, I have something important to discuss with you. I heard you’re in charge of the tender process for Project Immuno, aren’t you?”

He drew out the word doubtfully.

"The opportunity is open to all because everyone has an equal chance. If you truly want to do this project, work hard!” Cameron raised his hand and patted Fabian’s shoulder.

He wished the man could put in his effort and not waste time finding shortcuts.

“Yes, yes!” Looking over at his shoulder, Fabian answered excitedly. “Ron, you’re right, and I get it! I’ll work hard and not let you down.”

Withdrawing his hand to pick up his jacket, Cameron wanted him to know that he had to leave now.
