( CLAUDE'S POV )
I could very well imagine what would happen. My parents would be so furious that they would disown me from the pack.-
"But my child is innocent. She is..." I sobbed quietly.
"She? How do you know the baby is a she?" Dianne chuckled in amusement.
"Mother's instincts. And I don't think this situation is a funny one. I would appreciate it if you don't see it as one." I grumbled.
"I'm sorry, Claude. Of course it isn't a funny one." Dianne raised her hands in mock surrender.
"Let's go then." I sighed.
"To where? Wait, you agree?" Dianne asked me worriedly.
I nodded, puzzled. Wasn't she the one who had been advising me just now?
Well, I could understand the reason for her worry. She was my friend after all. She was perhaps worried that things may go wrong.
I placed my hands on hers,
"Don't worry, nothing would go wrong." I smiled reassuringly.

WHITE WING HOSPITAL.
Afternoon.
( DIANNE'S POV )
I sneered inwardly at my best friend turned enemy, into the hospital premises.
Her face was down cast. She was obviously having second thoughts about her decision. Well, I wasn't going to give her a chance to...
We were already at the hospital.... And so, she wasn't allowed to go back.
My mind was filled with happiness at the thought of witnessing my enemy's death.
Yes! Claude was my enemy... She had always been..
I was only but an Omega in the Crescent pack. What a position to be in...
My childhood hadn't been an adventurous one. Rather, it had been one filled with jealousy...
Jealousy at no other person, but Claude, the daughter of our Alpha.
I had always envied her... Envied the way she always every good thing, which I had always craved to have.
Why was my case different? Why were we born different?
The last straw that broke the camel's back, was when Xavier my childhood crush, announced that Claude was his mate.
I had been so heartbroken, that I had felt like dying.
From then on, I began hatching my plans to possess everything which Claude owned.
Xavier was mine, and she had no right to be his mate. How dare she?!
Well, that was all in the past, she would soon be dead... I was going to make sure of that.
At the thought of her dying, my mind felt light. I could literally taste the sweetness I was feeling on my tongue.
"Are you sure I'm doing the right thing?" I heard Claude whisper beside me.
At the sound of her voice, I almost puked. But I forced a smile on my face,
"Right? This is about the best decision you have made in years." I replied.
...............
"Welcome to the White wing hospital. Do you have an appointment with a doctor?" The receptionist asked when we approached the front desk.
"Not really. But can we see the doctor? It's kind of an emergency situation." I replied before Claude could.
"Alright then. Please head over to the visitors lounge over there. A doctor would attend to you soon." The receptionist gestured over to the lounge with a smile.
"Thank you." I nodded and led Claude over to the visitors lounge.
I closed my eyes, and sighed.
I knew they wouldn't visit me... They never cared anyway...
All they wanted was a perfect daughter, and I wasn't one. So, why would they care?

THE OPERATION THEATRE.
( CLAUDE'S POV )
The lights came on, and I closed my eyes in an attempt to shield my eyes from the blinding lights.
My hands were placed over my stomach, as I waited for the arrival of the doctor.i couldn't wait to get done with the operation.
With each second that ticked past, my heart continued palpitating faster than normal.
The door opened at that moment startling me.
I was sure the intruder was the doctor. After all, only medical personnel could be allowed into the operation theatre.
"Doctor, when are we going to begin the operation? I'm getting quite nervous." I asked as the footsteps approached me, where I was lying on the bed.
No response... I felt that was strange...
However, I was shocked when the person's face loomed over me.
"Dianne?" I choked out her name.
What was she doing in the operation theatre?
I began having an ominous feeling. The raw feeling of fear crawled from the pits of my stomach.
Her face was a mask of viciousness. The aura which was emanating from her body frightened me.
However, I steeled my voice and when I spoke, the calmness of my voice startled me,
"What are you doing here?"
