Heiress Unmasked: Shaking the World With Geomancy novel Chapter 302

As the livestream viewers were feverishly attempting to uncover the identities of the couple and issue a timely warning, Quinn and Zachary did what they said they would and went back to their room to pack before heading downstairs to check out.

As Quinn was packing, she couldn't resist taking another look at the contents of the satchel. "She's really pretty. I think the show they were filming was called 'Sixth Sense,' right? Maybe we should watch it."

"What's so interesting about it? It's just a bunch of young people fooling around."

After that, Zachary offhandedly asked, "Have you given any thought to that investment opportunity I mentioned earlier?"

Upon hearing this, Quinn's expression momentarily faltered. After a brief pause, she turned and said, "We should discuss it after we get back. I haven't really thought it through yet. It's a rather huge investment, and my father wants to think it over too."

Upon hearing her response, Zachary's expression remained unchanged. He simply smiled and said, "No worries; I was just asking. There's no need to rush.

"I'll handle the packing here. Why don't you head downstairs to check out and get the car?"

Seeing that Zachary was genuinely unbothered by it, Quinn nodded and headed downstairs with the key card.

But unbeknownst to her, the smile on Zachary's face vanished the moment she closed the door. His expression instantly became cold and menacing.

He glanced over and noticed the satchel she had placed in her bag.

Zachary's gaze chilled as he thought about what Shannon had said earlier. After a moment of hesitation, he took the satchel, went to the bathroom, and threw it into the trash can.

Without a change in expression, he turned around, zipped up the suitcase, and pushed it out the door along with the bag.

She felt like she was at a disadvantage being paired with Eddie and had no intention of acting like a couple on the show. After considering her options, she decided it would be better to seek out opportunities for screen time with the others.

With more people, the two teams could monitor the target jointly, so she and Eddie could take a backseat.

Additionally, after hours of individual livestreaming, she realized that their team wasn't generating as much interest as the other teams. She concluded that it would be more beneficial to team up with Vincent's team in hopes of capitalizing on their popularity.

If it weren't for that team allocation rule, she would have teamed up with Vincent in a heartbeat.

In the end, Shannon was the one who benefited from the situation.

Although Percy knew what Madeline was up to, Carlos had indeed confirmed that Madeline's team was generating very low viewership. If they were left in the same team, there would likely be insufficient footage to edit for the second episode.
