They commented and followed the case, bringing the matter up again after the attention had turned away from it and to the SATs. This time, there were even recordings from the livestream to support the case.

Many of the online community took the chance to rehash the incident before following the livestream recordings to the livestream itself.

Carlos was dazed when he saw the number of viewers suddenly shoot up. Who would've expected the filming of an entertainment program to suddenly garner so much attention? Instead of saying that the mystic arts were at play, he would think the viewers were the mystical ones.

Inside the Gray residence, the cast and the Gray family had no idea what was happening in the livestream and online. When Rachel realized the severity of the situation, she dropped her pitiful act and lowered her head, looking obedient and helpless.

Connor didn't expect her to say anything. In fact, it'd be better for her to keep her mouth shut. He stepped forward, his tone gentle as he said, "I know you don't want to interfere in our family's matters anymore, Shannon, but I've really run out of ideas. You're the only one who can help us now."

And so, he kept his tone civil and polite. He knew she didn't like getting involved with the Gray family, so he didn't mention anything about it with the cameras rolling.

All he said was, "Since you're filming this program, think of us as just regular people who are asking for help. You can't delay filming because of our personal matters, right?"

Eddie's heart sank at suddenly being named. Still, he kept his expression calm. Olivia chimed in, "Yeah, exactly. We have Eddie, and he's a well-known blogger on the mystic arts. Why don't you let him know what your problem is, Mr. Gray?"

Her voice was sweet and crisp, and she quickly pushed Eddie to the forefront with her words. She didn't give Connor the chance to say no. She wasn't a fool—she could tell Shannon wasn't on good terms with the Grays.

Though Shannon had been aloof and standoffish during filming, she wasn't hard to get along with. Judging from the fact that she'd acted so coldly to the Grays immediately upon seeing them, it was easy to tell that the latter had done something terrible to the former.

For all they knew, there could be bad blood between them. If that were the case, Connor wasn't any better than Rachel—he knew Shannon disliked them, yet he was still forcing her to help them.
