Juniper's words caused the barrage of comments about Vincent to pause for a moment. Then, the audience commented rapidly in the chat, their excitement evident.
"Whoa! Starting off this strong?"
"This script is intense."
"Who is this guy? How dare he insult Soren!"
"I thought this guy was cute, but now I see I was wrong!"
"Poor Soren!"
"This is hilarious! Where did this guy come from? Did he think Soren's fans wouldn't back him up?"
"Calm down, everyone. This is clearly scripted."
"Haha! I can't stop laughing. The Chosen One hasn't gotten into character yet. Olivia and Eddie's reactions are much more genuine."
The last comment referred to the reactions of the other three when Juniper made that statement out of the blue.
Shannon remained utterly unperturbed, her expression flat and unsurprised. Olivia and Eddie, however, were obviously caught off guard. They seemed confused about what was happening. Their expressions clearly suggested that they were wondering why they hadn't been warned beforehand about this plot twist. How were they supposed to react in this situation?
Soren, too, was surprised at the turn of events. He looked puzzled but maintained a good-natured demeanor as he addressed Juniper. "Is there something about me that you're dissatisfied with? We'll be filming together for some time. If there's an issue, please let me know. I don't want to affect the show."
His words showcased his gentlemanly temperament perfectly. Fans who had watched him since his trainee days knew him to be a kind and gentle guy. The chat room was soon filled with sympathetic messages.
"I'm crying. Soren is too nice!"
Shannon hadn't met Juniper before, but she had heard about him from Martin. The Abbot of Windsong Monastery thought his favorite apprentice was talented, but his personality still lacked refinement. This variety show was meant to temper his character.
Shannon had always thought she was quite headstrong. However, she felt that she was relatively tolerable after witnessing Juniper's behavior.
After a moment of thought, she didn't answer Juniper's question directly but echoed his sentiment with a statement that shocked everyone. "I recommend that the production team exclude Soren from the rest of the filming too."
Not only did Soren have five lives weighing on him, but there was also the bloodthirsty energy he carried due to his acts of murder. That kind of energy could easily attract malevolent spirits in places rife with negative energy.
As she spoke, she shot Fred a subtle glance. If there was anyone in the group likely to heed her advice, it would be Fred. After all, he had already been convinced of her abilities previously.
Upon seeing this, Fred was on the verge of pulling his hair out in frustration.
