After saying that, the young man in black quickly left. Thomas chased after him, calling out to him a few times but failing to catch him.

"He left so quickly. I needed to get something delivered," Thomas muttered to himself. Then, he turned around and asked Shannon, "But miss, which delivery service is this? I don't think I've ever come across them."

Shannon was still staring intently at the box in her hand and had no intention of explaining. So, she just nodded perfunctorily and said, "Yes. It's good that you haven't heard of them."

With that, she went back to her room with the box.

After putting the box down, the first thing Shannon did was make a call to give the service provider she had engaged a piece of her mind. She demanded a refund too. If anything, she had spent 80 thousand dollars to dispel the infant spirit's grudge. Yet, they sent it back to her exactly as it was.
