Heartstrings on Fire novel Chapter 492

On the way to the Imperial Hotel, Agnes got an urgent message from Phenix.

The message said the hotel was surrounded by the FBI and she was told not to go.

Agnes's heart started racing.

Sean wasn't an innocent guy.

Although Agnes had always regarded him as her big brother over the years, they actually had very little contact.

Sean rarely appeared in public, but he and Phenix were lovers.

A bad feeling hit Agnes.

Sure enough, Phenix then said, "Sean and Noc are missing, we can't find them."

Agnes's mood immediately turned gloomy.

She knew Sean was a big deal.

But she couldn't help but worry.

Agnes knew that even facing death, Sean would do everything to protect Nocturne.

That's what she was worried about, afraid that Nocturne would be involved in this mess, and even more afraid that Nocturne would hold Sean back.

Meanwhile, Sean and Nocturne were trapped in the safety passage of the Imperial Hotel.

Sean knew the international cops outside were armed.

If he fought back, they could shoot him in the head.

But if he surrendered, there were certain high-ranking officials involved in this affair who definitely wouldn't let him fall into government hands.

He held a lot of dirty secrets of heads of state.

The ones chasing him were Interpol, but among them were also snoops and lackeys of those officials.

In the end, they'd still find a way to get rid of him.

Same difference.

If it were just him, Sean had a pretty good chance of handling it.

But now he had a kid with him.

The child had a very special identity, Albert considered him his own son.

He would protect this child at all costs.

The child had a sleep disorder.

But luckily, he was awake now.

However, they couldn't be sure if this kid was the one they were looking for.

People didn't know what exactly this kid's connection to Sean was.

Nocturne calmly walked down the corridor.

And then took the elevator.

A few people followed closely, they quickly rushed up the stairs, split into several groups.

Nocturne pressed the button for the ground floor.

The elevator doors opened to the hotel lobby.

The lobby was crowded.

This was a big hotel, with guests from all over the world.

Nocturne kept moving forward, he blended into the crowd.

Yet, those cops were still tailing him from the shadows.

Nocturne noticed them.

He suddenly picked up the pace, after a few steps he grabbed a random man's hand, then calmly said, "Sir, someone's following me, please help me get out of here."
