Agnes made the first move, kissing him.
What was she trying to say?
To him, it was probably her way of showing her love, inviting him to spend the night with her.
Jared was just slightly taken aback, then he couldn't resist the passion of his cute wife.
After all, he'd been holding her in his arms for so long.
Jared was already finding it hard to control himself.
At this point, he just couldn't help but want to hold Agnes tightly in his arms.
The next morning.
Agnes woke up around ten in the morning.
She'd been shooting night scenes for the past few days.
So, she could actually rest well in the hotel during the day.
Jared was already not in the hotel.
Thinking about last night, he probably only got one or two hours of sleep.
Agnes got up.
There was a box of pills on the carpet.
Agnes picked it up, frowned, hesitated for a moment, and then threw the box into the trash can.
They did use protection last night.
But Agnes remembered they might have forgotten a few times...
And then they didn't...
Well, it wouldn't be that unlucky.
After Beatrice walked in, she started complaining loudly: "Agnes, don't think that just because the director values you, you can act high and mighty. You're just a supporting character. What's so great about that?"
Agnes turned around, her expression serious, "Beatrice, did you go to see Jared yesterday?"
Beatrice's expression shifted subtly when she heard Agnes's words, her eyes brightening with anticipation. "Did he talk to you about it? What else did he say?" It was clear she wasn't concerned about Agnes's feelings. In her mind, she was destined to be Mrs. Whitfield, believing that Agnes was merely filling her rightful spot temporarily. She had sought out Jared the previous night, not feeling the least bit guilty toward Agnes. What mattered most was Jared's reaction. If her actions could drive a wedge between the couple, then it was worth it, even if it meant angering Jared.
Agnes's eyes narrowed, "You told Jared about my tattoo? What else did you reveal?"
Beatrice, ever the picture of grace, glanced at her freshly manicured nails and responded with smug satisfaction, "I shared about your past closeness with Elton. From the look on Jared's face when his name came up, I doubt he was pleased."
Thinking back to Jared's unhappy face when she mentioned Elton yesterday, Beatrice felt pleased.
Although the man said on the surface that he didn't mind, she guessed he was definitely uneasy inside.
This feeling was great. She didn’t expect that he could be jealous.
She finally let him taste what she had been feeling for so long. It's just a shame that it was for Agnes he was jealous.
