Genetic Ascension novel Chapter 1605

Chapter 1605 Tail

Nosphaleen's sharpness quickly became a frown.

The auras of these people... it wasn't what she was expecting at all. What was going on? Had she gotten unlucky?

Mist hung in the air, the carnage from the previous battles still lingering on the wind. There was an odd oppression pressing down on Nosphaleen's chest. She thought she was ready, but somehow the situation had changed on her again.

She wasn't exactly sure how she should be taking things.

Where were the Thryskai? Were the 002 Sanctum just nearby? How could there be such a coincidence?

She was nowhere near the border regions of the other territories right now. The one territory she was near-the 033 Sanctum's territory-had just been dealt with by her. It was very odd that there would be another Sanctum to worry about.

Memories flashed through Nosphaleen's head one after another after she realized that she had already pegged the auras of these approaching F-tiers as those of the 002 Sanctum.

This wasn't a distinction she should have been able to make, so how did she know? That was obviously an answer that came from Borun's memories.

However, it was odd that Borun would be so familiar with the 002 Sanctum as well-unless the culture of the 033 Sanctum was far different from the 073 Sanctum, maybe even precisely due to the influence of the Thryskai to begin with.

In which case...

The Jade Race...

Soon, Nosphaleen had contextualized everything.

The number one E-tier of the 002 Sanctum was extremely famous, not only for her beauty, but her strength, and her existence as someone who had deduced the Emperor Armor on her own.

That's all it takes to become famous?

Nosphaleen couldn't help but frown. Sylas had deduced not just one, but several Emperor Armors. He had even created his own Emperor-level Armor that probably stood above the others, at least at the F-tier.

While she had never met this Robareda, Nosphaleen immediately found herself not liking her on grounds of a false reputation.

However, that was one matter, and this was another.

Nosphaleen's head suddenly snapped in a new direction, the ocean's winds and her own senses carrying over a completely new aura to her. This aura was the one she had actually been expecting from the start-one that she was far more familiar with, though it had a few changes here and there.

The Thryskai.

Her first thought was what anyone else would think.

Should she try and pit them against one another? So long as she could hide for long enough, maybe it would work. The Thryskai might be here for her specifically, but the 002 Sanctum shouldn't be. That should cause enough confusion that she could take advantage, no?

What Nosphaleen was missing, though, was the fact that both parties were, indeed, here to look for her specifically. They weren't interested in any other parties at all.

Nosphaleen's eyes darted around, realizing that her previous plans weren't going to work.

Her gaze landed on the water beneath her. It seemed that this was going to be the only option for now.

She began to sink in, however, she hardly had before her expression changed once again.

Another group? From a third direction? Another set of Thryskai? What was happening?
